Jor el said, “You know what.. I’m done with this bullshit. You destroyed the ship your mother made for you, stole money, joined a gang, asked me to kill your own birth father basically, neglected my training, and now you want to use my good name to be a god damn hood rat looking like zod of metropolis. I’m leaving ya stupid ass out of the will”
Tom Welling has delivered unbeliveable performances on Smallville but this one could very well be his greatest, the emotion he brings in this scene as Clark is incredible, you could really feel how proud he was at the fact he had finally become the hero only for his AI father to pour cold water on his head to painfully remind his son that he was nowhere near the heroic level and trying to take another life doesn't make him a hero. I thought Tom Welling put on an epic performance as Clark Kent even though there wasn't anyone physcially there with him apart from the voice of Terence Stamp who was at his absolute best here as the cold, disembodied spirit of Jor-El. These two were on top form and this was their best scene ever. Side note: awesome build up to the threat of Darkseid and putting over the real dangers of what could happen if his darkness corrupted Clark Kent.
I do not know about you but I thought Jor-El was wrong here. Clark did not try to kill Lex. He let his anger get the better of him but he stopped once he thought he was killing Lex.

At least Jor-El didn't take away his powers as punishment.
