How do you like the punching bag setup. It looks like you've got your punching bag suspended from a door frame pull-up bar. Is it pretty stable? That's a cool idea, I might try something similar 👊
That's correct. i like it. Obviously there's no space to move around it, but it serves its purpose. I've had this setup for over a year now using a 70lbs and 100lbs bag, and neither has fallen or been knocked off once, so it's pretty reliable.
@Phiar That's pretty darn cool, never thought of doing that but it makes sense. If those pull-up bars are strong enough to support a person's weight, it makes sense that it could support the weight of a punching bag. I'm kind of in a similar situation where I'm trying to build or design an indoor training space, with limited space and I hadn't figured out yet what I ought to do to hang up my heavy bag. I might try this idea, thanks for posting this video 👊

Hell yeah bro, keep pushing your speed, don’t even think about the punch. Focus on moving your body. I don’t know how to explain it well, but you can be faster when you just focus on the neuron signal and muscle activation. Humans only activate 20%-40% of our muscle fibers, woth higher percentages, up to 40%-60%being in high adrenaline, high stress situations. So in a practice state like this you’re probably only using 10-15%. So you want to increase that base line muscle activation.
I hope that makes sense I’ve never tried to explain it

Good effort , try to punch into the middle of the bag like you really hitting someone. when you hit someone you don't slide off them you retract and jab or punch again then jab then wipe out punch , practice like you really fighting someone and always get better each day'
The focus in this clip is the Hook. Proper execution, returning the hands, short, compact, fast.
Do you need to lift your hands up them hooks as low and a week? I’ll knock you out.

@TheSeedsAndStems The things I've successfully applied during previous spars is what I practice on my bag, so what you're seeing in this short is intentional. No balance issues.
@@Phiar maybe no unbalance but stepping like that sets up your own downfall for sure your body way more open and open longer
@TheSeedsAndStems i understand you, but it would be an issue if I wasn't aware of it. Knowing when to and when not to do certain things is a major part of it.
