Ha! I know why they clapped. And these are not ignorant concert-goers. Those who attend the Adelphi Orchestra - it's pretty knowledgeable crowd. They clapped for a reason. Randall's playing is sooooo nuanced. Every note is given rare attention and it not only shows in the playing, but you feel it as a listener. I can't wait to hear more of him.

I think the cameraman hated the soloist because why the heck, they didn't focus on him. He barely appeared during the performance 😧
