Qirwa Anka is a musical group from the Andes, founded by the brothers Julio and Fernando Sanaylan.
They were born in the city of Riobamba - Ecuador and collaborate with Lennin De La Torre on their mixes and interpretations of some Andean flutes.
The Sanaylan brothers currently live in the city of Cologne - Germany and have been strengthening this Andean group since 2006. Qirwa Anka, which means "eagle race" in the Quechua - Chanka language, currently has 5 productions of its own authorship as well as several singles that include the already well-known Andean rhythms and those of other ethnic groups.
Our music is played with various instruments from North America, South America and also the Asian continent. Our goal is, was and remains to build, preserve, promote and make known our cultural roots and traditional rhythms of the Andes and to encourage our youth to value and glorify their origins .
