@MsMvsc I feel you on that and I'm so sorry that it was. It definitely was not the best and hurt a lot ofartist pockets. A good alternative is superstar anime which is usually the same weekend in VA Beach. But I hope you had other cons lined up after that one that helped you out! Also have a happy new year!

@PastelScoops I agree 100% they really have been getting too expensive due to cons becoming more popular. Especially after 2020. Now like any con will push booth prices to a minimum of 300 dollars for an artist booth, and then doesn't have the attendance that they think they'll have. So ik a lot of artist that are giving up on cons in general or only selecting specific cons to try to get into

@MsMvsc I was a vendor and not an artist in artist alley but from what I saw they didn't enforce it too much when I walked around artist alley

Honestly I don't fully know due to I don't remember seeing a retro game and toy vendor last year but you can definitely try since it's still a smaller con and it could be an advantage your you

Oof I felt that, yeah I 100% agree that it felt like a flea market at the con and i do think the layout could have been a little different. I'm sorry it was a meh con for you and I hope that your next event is a lot better and you sell out of a lot of your product!

Yeah. I just felt that everyone was scattered everywhere. Artists got thrown between two vendors. There's zero need to have two stands selling fudge and I have no idea why the hell Verizon was there. Fairfax Comic Con is another convention held there that I've vendored at. Artists are put in the middle of the floor and the vendors surround them outside. So, when folks come in, they see vendors and then as they walk they can find all the Artists Alley folks in the middle 3 aisles or along the walls. Also, there's was a major lack of around the clock entertainment too.

Thank you this meant a lot and I'm glad that my grading scale is understandable and not upsetting or unfair to others especially if I had a good or bad con. I wanna focus on the show rather than if I had success. I want to have people interested in the cons and show them the ins and out even if I succeed or fail and burn. I'm glad I could convey that. @BlerdWood some of my most memorable shows have been the most unsuccessful sales-wise. I rate every show on an experience. Sales are on a back burner for me. Everyone ha different goals. I'm not here to say making money is a bad goal. Making money is great. But there's wayyyyy more to a show.
