"OpenFlop" breathes new life into the legendary Ensoniq SQ-80 by swapping out the old-school mechanical disk drive for a highly functional USB interface. This isn't just an upgrade; it's a revolution that keeps your classic synth in the loop. With OpenFlop, gone are the days of dealing with temperamental mechanical drives and the endless hunt for floppy disks. Instead, you're diving into a world where storing and transferring data, like sequences, sound banks, and patch data is a breeze, all thanks to the convenience of the USB host interface. It's a game-changer, merging the SQ-80's iconic sound and vibes with the effortless, modern efficiency of digital storage. OpenFlop isn't just about preserving the past; it's about unlocking the full potential of your SQ-80 for the future.💥
The slide potentiometer replacement kit is also compatible with ESQ-1, and ESQ-M units.

Noted. Thanks for the feedback on the music. Regarding Lexicon, work on older models from them, such as the 224XL, 480/960L etc. The newer Lexicons are mostly SMT and not as fun to work on. Feel free to get in touch if you have something in mind. synthesizer.repair/support Thanks for watching.

One small bit of constructive feedback for your production. The background music is far too loud and is rather distracting... Thanks, and keep up the great work.
