I used to believe that my parties would either succeed or fail, but now as I've sent a low level party to the Darkest Dungeon...The horros have made me grow more attached to my soldiers. I cannot bare to see them die nor fail anymore. They should live on to fight another day despite the shameful stress they gain from retreat.

You forgot autopick place, i was going to challenge the drowned crew in cove so i brought lots of blight, only for the game to reset my pick and autopicked me in warrens where everything is resistant in some way.

After beating The Beast, my interpretation of the ending was: Isaac begins The Ascent; in a moment of mental clarity he begins to remember his life and his parents the way they really were. After defeating The Beast, we go back full circle to the first ending where Mag died from the bible hitting her head, except now it's a Crack The Sky beam smiting her. His ascent continues as he remembers the good moments he had with his family, he remembers Guppy, and then it all fades to black. This is when the ascent concludes. Immediately after, Isaac, finally in peace, hears his dad's voice telling him a bedtime story. In heaven, Isaac's family is happy, and nothing has ever gone wrong.

Shortly after a particularly tough croc encounter in the courtyard, my hands slipped and healed my nearly-full health Bounty Hunter with my Occultist instead of my Houndmaster, who was at Death's door. It was a critical 20-something heal with no bleed. The next attack directly after that was an enraging sight by a manservan, directed at my HM. For one damage. It was a deathblow. I alt-f4'd and stared at the drywall for 30 minutes.
