I am wondering why most of your short sermons focus on money analogies? Also, I agree with the principle of tithing and I do believe it brings God's blessings on us. What I personally find difficult to reconcile is that modern pastors like yourself, take a salary from those tithing funds. Jesus said to take neither purse nor script and that his apostles needs would be provided for. There are so many wealthy churches out there and church leader (e.g. Daystar is an example) that make the church a business. I think Christians need to get back to the way Christ led his church in the Bible.

This is a complete lie! That’s not what that means. Seeking Gods kingdom means apply Gods law and practice it in your life and have faith. Living a simple life and preaching the good news of the kingdom and God will provide for you. Not give God your money, this is why people hate religion because of corrupt morons like this.

I thank God that my pastor was real with me when i got baptized, he told me a lot of people think they'll get baptized and everything just gets fixed and perfect, but the opposite is often true. He told me i would very likely be attacked by the enemy because i was declaring my allegiance to God, and boy was he right, but here i stand by the grace of God a thousand times the man i ever was without Him 🙏

I respectfully disagree. We are the not that which is of great value. Jesus is. It’s only when He enters our lives that we have any value. We are but dirt. Even from the beginning we were very good, not perfect. It’s only when the Spirit of God enters our lives that we are being made perfect.
