Moose in Snowbird, Utah 2024
I recently visited Snowbird, Utah, for the first time, and most morning and evening walks on the observation trail were rewarded with moose sightings, mule deer, ground squirrels, and Marmots. Here are a few video clips of the moose we saw from safe distances.

Backyard Birding Black-bellied Whistling Duck
Переглядів 167Місяць тому
I looked for these ducks at our local wetlands in southern Indiana at the beginning of May with no luck. This evening, when fishing at our lake, a pair of Black-bellied ducks flew in and landed on the power line. I ran home, got the camera, and started filming. It was a good evening! Beautiful! ❤❤❤. Thank you for sharing! Don’t get to see the lights: all socked in with fog last couple of days/nights!
How far do these geomagnetic storms reach before they're not considered "northern lights"

Awesome video!
Where are you located?
You need a new queen but it's late in the season. No brood means no bees. Your hive is gorgeous though. Did you build it?
I wonder if the old queen swarmed and the new queen was unable to get mated...
those are some nice built combs.
Thanks Tim. Both hives had trouble at the beginning, but I think they are getting stronger slowly. I'm going to keep a close eye on the 2nd hive.
Good video. To me, neither hive is strong enough for a second box.
very cool... like the head mount view too! Good luck with the swarm captures this spring! Joe
