This was wonderful- very informative & fun watching the wee baby's antics!! This young man clearly loves these GORGEOUS Giraffes! I started watching another girl, Autumn, on Valentine's weekend, waiting for her to give birth. Found that by very happy accident!👍 Chatters kept talking about April. That's how l heard of April, only just learning she was actually Autumn's mummy + grandmother to Autumn's babies, Kellan + newborn Providence. It is a joy to see them & Providence's birth on Feb.21, same day l had daughters in 1980, lol!😃 So although I haven't invested years of love like many in here, or who visited April in person, l still am sad when any Animal dies. So my condolences to all who loved April & feel a huge sense of loss. It is certainly a VERY sad loss for endangered Giraffes every where. I am sorry l only meet April now by video after her death. But it is so very very easy to see why she is so loved by so many, and so deeply missed. Rest In Peace, wonderful matriarch, thank you for the beautiful lineage you leave behind.🌹😔💖🦒🐾🌈🇨🇦☘️⚜️

Everything I know about giraffes, I learned from AAP. I started watching just before Taj was born. I was watching when April's labor started and didn't stop until he stood on his own. I'm so sorry April had to be put down. Heartbreaking. I was wondering if Alyssa is still at AAP?

So sad to see this video of April. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful giraffe!! I remember when she gave birth to Tajiri and Azizi. I can't believe that she is gone. I know the park had to do the right thing for April. It's so sad when a beloved animal passes away. I know that feeling very well. We had to do the same thing with our beloved family dog. She had arthritis in her back legs, too. It was very difficult for to stand up and eat her food and drink her water. So, we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to euthanize her. We had to do what was right for our beloved family dog. So, I know what Animal Adventure Park is going through right now. My condolences to everyone at the park. May April and her son, Azizi, rest in peace. ;(
