This was such an awesome interview. There’s something really special about the DIY elbow grease that went into fandom prior to the modern internet, and Dan created an amazing legacy within the tapestry of Star Wars. I wish I could time travel to this event, too!

Despite the flaws, I had a lot of fun with the sequel trilogy. I don’t go into Star Wars looking for a perfect narrative masterpiece. I go into it hoping for the same excitement and awe I got from the original, and this still did that for me.

I was watching it live at home in Sydney Australia and I had to be quiet because my family was asleep at the time. Man that trailer still gives me chills and then when you see the film I was so filled with anger about how the movie was so rushed and left us so much anger.
