TRYING THE COSTWAY PORTABLE WASHER AND DRYER
Thank you!
However I do like the idea of how to have your drying area set up.
Please don’t take this the wrong way but it appears that you put to much in your washer, maybe try adding the water, soap, turn on then add the clothes. You may have to do more loads but I think your clothes will turn out cleaner. When the clothes stop swishing around then you have to much in the washer.
Hi What's the name of the fabric softener
I don’t know where you go to the laundromat but it usually costs me WAY more than $8 ..!
I purchased both the washer and dryer from Wayfair some months ago. I'm disabled and this purchase has been a true Godsend. I'm disabled and hv no W/D in my handicapped APMT. However, it's only been six months and the spinner smells like burnt rubber and it does not spin enough to get the water out of the clothes. I have troubleshooted and done everything I know to do except for taking off the back panel. Then as my luck would have it, my dryer completely stopped working the next day. What's concerning is I've only used these maybe 10 times since purchase. Thank God I bought the 3-year warranty on both with Allstate. I called Wayfair and explained to them what happened and they could not get ahold of anyone about this warranty issue. So, instead they are going to replace both units for FREE!! What I would love is the knowledge of how to fix them so I could donate them to those in need. I know the feeling of being homeless bc I only get a grand a month from SSDI. I'm not finding any videos online to help me. Sooo, I'm reaching out to as many peeps as I can to see if anyone can help. Sorry for the length of this post.
How do you clean the dryer part I’m so confused on how
Thanks for the review but 👋 get a shower message thingy with the long hose and you can put the shower hose into the washer no lifting🎉
#Ulta
wussup this is me 4 years later im that kid in the stage over the years ive developed a passion for music witch now im in the present making music.
I would just like to see the dryer. Title totally wrong. That spin side is in no way whatsoever a dryer. It is just the spin cycle bucket but not a dryer
If you want to know how it works quickly, 3 mins in is where to start. I don’t have one but that isn’t washing to me it has far too much washing in it. Would like to know how it’s held up and whether anyone would recommend it. Cheers
Stop adding clothes 😅😂😂😂😂
I’m happy you’re saving money and make life easier. 😊😊😊 I just bought mine
Try to install shower hose and head easier.
You need much more water or it won't wash proper. The water has to flow threw the clothes to was proper but good video
Oh goodness, you shouldn’t have to touch the clothes when you put them in the washer. You put too much in there. I’m sorry, but I had to laugh at you pushing the clothes down and moving them this way and that way; it’s very apparent that you are saying it’s fine and you can do this and this knowing full well you filled it too full.
What about using bleach for whites?
You can use bleach in these machines ,I have for years but certainly on the smaller amount side.
Does this do comforters or big blankets?
It doesn't work for large garments like jackets, blankets and duvets, you can use it for almost all your clothes but washing them in parts so as not to overload the washing machine
Thanks for sharing! ❤ great demonstration of this machine. I'm definitely buying this machine soon, live in apt its expensive to wash & dry in apt building laundry. Their are not enought machines in my apt laundry 2 are broken. I will definitely save so much money, will be more convenient to do my laundry at home for my family. I also want to buy the ventless dryer too. Much love from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 ❤🌟
Alexia...you ARE PUTTING TO MUCH CLOTHING IN AND THAT WILL BURN YOUR MOTOR....you can get a shower adapter with an additional shower head and cord and that way you dont need buckets..that's what I do..so much faster and easier...put when done, Its hung on the edge of inside tub. ...just saying...😊
When you’re using the spin cycle where does the water go? We just got one and the water is going out on the floor. Please help.
Check your hose...make sure it's on drain..not standard...put always the washer inside your tub or shower...that way no water on floor..I put a nylon sock tie to the hose to catch all hairs and stuff..works great in tub or shower.. Clk the hose to make sure it's not lose.. But try the tub or shower stall...you can use a extension cord like me if the cord is not long enough...
You overfilled it. The weight interferes.
Is this machine still working? How has it held up?
So it’s not technically a dryer correct? It’s been dry is it? So they’re still wet and need to be hung up right?
It helps drying the excess of water, for dry clothes you’ll need a dryer.. but they ruin clothes.. with this one your clothes last longer
Yes you'll need to hang dry.
Put less in . Your saving money by having this but your gonna kill it by overloading. Less load but more washes will make the life of it last. You keep adding more and more.
Omg. You stuffed it. Your going to burn out the washer. This is not a full size washer. It cant move clean or spin. And its not 12 pueces if clothes. Its up to 12lbs. Wet u probably have 20lbs of clothes in it.. u can start a fire. And you have way to little water
Never heard till now you can use tide pods. I hear don't add too much soap... definitely looking at purchasing and thank you for the extension cord question as my plug is too far for length of cord. I have a shower stall so want to be able to have electrical go over the side wall (round stall) to prevent anything beingbto low since no tub. Thank you!
More water less clothes then yhey will wash proper. Water has to go threw to really clean.
The instructions say to clean the filter after every wash. None of the other 15 videos I've seen do this. I have this exact model and was hoping to see this.
I also said the same thing no one else mentions the filter. I wash 3 times and 3 fabric softener. Then I'm usually done so I remove the gilter and rinse. So far it's very clean so not sure why it has to be cleaned every wash or end if day.. it was hard to remove but a little pressure and it comes out.
I know it's a lot of space but you gotta think about the weight
You also should know that the water level should be above your clothes your clothes should not be sticking out of the water that means you have too many clothes or not enough water
What is a better idea is to turn the washer on with the water on add the soap and add the clothes then you can gauge how much room the clothes have by how they move around then you will know when to stop adding clothes
Lol no because her bathroom floor would be soaked from the water splashing everywhere. Lol
You are totally wasting all of your detergent those pods were measured for full size washers You're putting too much soap in those clothes You're wasting it and you're probably taking out a lot of the color of your clothes by doing that You should buy a liquid and you should only put like a tablespoon or something in at a time.
You need more water for that amount of clothes. Also there’s waaaaaayyyy too much detergent in one tide pod
Wow the reviews here are right too many clothes. Remember this is a portable washer not a full size
Is that the new model
The best way; the most accurate way of adding the right amount of clothes, is to weigh it. Get on a scale and then pick up the right amount of clothes that equals NO MORE THAN 12 lbs. The suggested weight by the manufacturer is "WET' weight. Otherwise you will burn out the motor. You have way too much in that machine, sorry to say. If you want it to last, you have to take it easy. ;)
I have a 2 yr warranty so im filling up til it breaks
I wish u u woukd of shown separately how much clothes you out inside
the dryer part sounds noisy for the neighbors if your in an apartment building?
This ain't no senior home, but I don't doubt this will trigger a Karen nearby!
Thanks for the step by step video
Too many clothes dear. "Pay attention" at how its struggling to agitate 😒😒
I Love State Fair of Texas ❤❤😊
I just bought this same washer. Hoping it works a lot better then the other one I had. With the spin side you do not add water correct? I was just curious to know why they have two drain holes and then what likes like a water hole inside the spin side.
On the spin side of mine I run the water while it spins for about a minute or so and rinse the detergent off. I assumed that's why it has a water input on that side 🤷🏻♀️ I could be wrong lol😂
I appreciate your video and the comment section even more. I have the same machine and made the same mistakes (overloading etc...). The spinner works best with less items inside it. I hope you still enjoy your machine. Happy washing😉
You overfilled it. That's why it's not agitating the clothing. Fill the water first, then turn it on. It will agitate the water with power. While it's agitating then add the clothing one by one. Stop adding the clothes when you see the agitation start to slow down. This will prevent the overfill and motor burn out.
That's exactly the way my gran taught me with her old hoovermatic when I was a kid and it's still how I do it today with my twin tub ❤ 👍
Great tip! Thank you
That motor is struggling 😫 less clothes.
230$? 🤯 I bought a fully automatic RCA washer that hooks right up to a faucet for less than that
That poor machine is going to burn out in no time, because there's far too much clothes with not enough water. The clothes aren't floating, they are just being made heavy with an inadequate amount of water. It's just resting on the impeller, which will cause the motor to have to work a lot harder. If you have these machines do not do this.
I agree! You seem to be the only one that understands this in the comment section. Lol
That’s all logical and rational what you just wrote… some people abuse machines and then complain with bad reviews 😅😅
You added way to much clothes, that's why it spins so slow.. clothes are supposed to run freely and not clumped up like your video shows. That will burn out the motor as it is over working to do each turn. I doubt it is doing it's job like it's supposed and if they come out clean that's because the clothes were not really dirty, use common sense.. it will last you nore than it should.
You could hear it trying to agitate and doing nothing. Started to feel bad for the washer 😂
