is that dr2 or wrc??
For me is ezz to control lanca 037 but s4 I hardly know how to control it
Where is lanca stratos video🤣🤨 lol I can't control lanca delta s4 some tips.
Well, I'm not expert on any car atm. In each video, tryin out 4WD and RWD cars to develop generic tips that you can use for all cars. Car specific tips maybe future content for me👍
do Lanca stratos next. eheha
Love this whole thing. Just one request, maybe use a FD3S? Thank you!
Thanks some videos ago I ask for tips thank you
In my opinion its better to finish all tracks with slowest car, to remember the worst part of every track.
Yeah, old FWD cars are perfect for that. But I just can't hold myself to no pick the legends :)
Try use the soft tyres, they work better than snow tyres
Not sure if this is a good idea for icy asphalt but I'll try in next video since I race in short length tracks.
@@PHVNTOMCRUISER depends on where in the stage it devolves into snow. some monaco stages are mostly snow and slush while others only have it in the start / end. if the stage is mostly tarmac and say, only a couple hundred yards of snow, then go with soft. the time you will lose using snow tyres on the majorly tarmac stage will outweigh the time lost using soft tyres on a short patch of slush
@@paths7969 Sounds like a plan, thanks!
Maaaan I want my wheel back 😭 this made me want to set up my rig again :D
Haha, DEW IT ANAKIN!
Great Video. I've been thinking about getting the game, and this vid pretty much convinced me. Looks very satisfying.
Thanks for sharing your decision and thoughts! And don't forget that you'll experience great accomplishment when you completed your first run without a crash or a spin, don't give up 👍
I installed this game yesterday I only played arcaded racing games this game is hard any tips ?
For now I highly suggest you check my very first Dirt video's comments. Then check other videos' comments. I also talk about tips given in previous videos at warm-up stages of my videos. I'll make video only for essential tips to begin which sum of all tips given in series, stay tuned!
Nice
you doing great man, but i think you should try practising being more aggressive with corners like faster and closer to inner side of the corners. keep it up!
Right, but whenever I tried to push little more up to corners, found myself spinnin' or hittin trees 😂 Practice is the key for sure to understand the car's physics, how it responds. But for content, I need to try different cars each time and that makes it hard for now. Will remember what you said, thanks!
idk if the voiceovers are during the gameplay or after, but if you are going for a pb run or just a run where you wanna iron out your mistakes, i feel like you should focus and zone in on the driving instead of scrutinizing while you are driving because that tends to take you out the present where you need the mindspace to react to the road. I hope this didnt come out as rude, i did this at the start without realising it and reviewed my gameplay after i had a nice focused run
Thanks for the feedback! Actually I do voiceover after the race. As you said, It'd be too distractive. At this level, I can't go for pb runs though, therefore its more training / analysis content. But for my upcoming video, I comment only for my first run and leave space for those who want to watch my best solely. I hope that'll work for everyone :)
Walk along the razor's edge
But don't look down just keep your head
Watch some RoadsideTv videos on how to tune your car in game ,it will help a lot ,cheers . Keep it up and keep practising.
When I feel that I adapted completely to co-pilot directions, adjusting speed before turns and other fundamentals, I'll start tuning. Thanks for the tip!
1st ,lets go ,good luck .
If you love rally.. try 50 or 60s F1! Cars that have waay more power than the tyres would actually be capable of, no downforce and diagonal tyres whose contact patch deforms with every sideways force that's acted on it... Powersliding through corners, slingshotting around hairpins... tyres that need at least 3 laps to get up to temperature... you'll love it!
I'm not familiar with the terminology but that sounds like pure pain😅That's a unique taste in motorsports tho and the closest experience I had to 50s F1 is the racing mission in Mafia 1, and that was f*ckin HARD! Is there any game that you can suggest for the era of F1? I'd love to experience this in future!
@@PHVNTOMCRUISER Grand Prix Legends.. there is a special demo made that includes a car from the various mods made for the game.. the game originally is based on the 1967 F1 season
Too much input if you try hard enough you can do without a handbrake
Right. RWDs are perfect for that and I think other cars can be modified for that, gonna try it out. Thanks for the tip!
You have to try BeamNG! belive me it is so much fun. It is THE sandbox game for driving and has everthing in it you wish for. Offroad is also very good
Driving simulator games like BeamNG, Assetto Corsa fails to attract me with their a few pretty good mechanics but lacking visual - gameplay immersion as a whole game. Definitely looks fun to play, in long terms I don't think I'll play for long hours of gameplay. But I saw BeamNG rally mods or maps and looks really interesting tho. I added this to my to-try rally game list, thank you for the recommendation!
map the handbrake to the left shift pedal on the wheel. you are shifting on the H shifter. The left shift pedal is much easier to press than a button on the wheel Cheers! :)
That's actually what I planned to do for my second record. But however, rotating wheel more than a degree, btw. 90-180, makes it difficult to press any button on wheel. But this will make it better probably, thanks!
i would recoment you do change the steering angle to 600 degrees. this is what the in game wheel uses and can be easier to drive for beginning.
Really? Yeah that could help, thanks!
Or enable softlock
You can map the handbrake to a button on the wheel but in all honesty I have a simagic setup with the shifter and handbrake and everything and I only use it on hairpins and even then not always. Using the balance of the car and the brake is very effective in making the car turn tight. Keep at it and have a fun time !
That's also another good option. I tried quattro and as you said, braking + full throttle can make turn car to very high angles. Thanks!
@ With time you'll find your way around the different types of cars. At times it can be incredibly frustrating but that's all part of learning how to tame each car. You'll also find that giving it more gas does not necessarily always make you go faster. Moving a bit slower through some corners will yield you better times that drifting your way through each corner, albeit less fun. I recently bought ea wrc and I could not even explain the frustration of playing on wet gravel with a rwd bmw and trying to get back 9 seconds of pace. As I said most importantly have fun and enjoy the process !
@@nirvana613 Well said. Is EA WRC 24 harder than Dirt? If it is, then I better stick to Dirt for a while...😅Thanks, you have fun too buddy!
@ I wouldn't say it's necessarily harder, it is different though. A times it feels stupid hard. AI is very inconsistent. In some stages I'm leading literally almost a minute on one stage, and on another I'm pushing my limit and I'm 10+ seconds behind. That being said it is fun and it is another game to play, different tracks and cars. I'd say it's worth giving a shot if you enjoy rallying in general, more of the good stuff I say
@@nirvana613 That game got mixed reviews on Steam I remember. Seems that has still issues. But yeah, will get at some point because its the latest, AAA rally game on market.
'i tried everything! NFS, forza, EVEN FI! BY CODEMASTER!!" Bruh if its the games you gon play why get a wheel LMAO. stay on the Keyboard/Controllers for those games. you didn't even try a proper driving game. your not part of the "i can't get fun with a wheel" guys, your part of the "idk what im talking about and im too proud to ask or search by myslef, dw i already know" guy. Just play good dames mate, won't be hard to find in under 5 min of google research, and you'll see, youll get some fun. But pls, don't go around making useless videos. no one who bought a wheel is considering selling it exepte you lmao.
If you check any second hand shopping platform, you'll see that how many g29 or equivalent wheels even with ongoing warranty are on sale. And for the opening, why did you get so mad on the game list? I said those bc they're popular and comes to first for "casual" players. If you're not casual racer, know ur thing, so this video not meant to be for you. Pure sim racing is different thing and may not be fun for casual players. You seem got me wrong on purpose of vid, I'm not "I'm racing expert, and this is my final decision on best genre" guy. Just tryin to attract casual players to rally, thats all 😉
Tip for improving, you should use both hands to steer or try different ffb settings. I recommend modding that logitech shifter to sequential shifter ( for example like this ua-cam.com/users/shortsDHiPLBhfngY?si=NkXBGLBCp0QyaNZE ) but overall you're doing good job, keep it up.
Yeah, at first I decided to go with low ffb, one hand steering and one hand shifting but that felt too complicated later. I need to adapt shifting before the corners and both hands on wheel while drifting as you said. Shifter modification looks interesting but H pattern is a personal thing to me :) Thanks for the tips and comment buddy, I will!
imagine how fun it would be if you got your FOV and monitor placement correct
So you want my cam footage showing wheel and monitor aligned at center? This is hard for me to set it up for now.
try richard burns rally its the best rally sim and the hardest one aswell , there is a big mod comunity , look at rallysimfans and give it a try
Oh well, thats an old school. I played Colin McCrae Rally 2005 when I was a kid but never heard of this. I'll keep that in mind, thanks!
@@PHVNTOMCRUISER it has nothing to do with the original one, its heavely modded and its even used by some Rally drivers to practice the real rally stages
@@RedLine0069 Oh, missed that. Quickly checked and it seems the mods are heavily focused on driving. Thanks, I'll def give it a try in future. 👍
