@@lalomillar6335 se que son alemanes, pero se considera que su canción más famosa (Lemon Tree) y su album de 1997 "Go and Ask Peggy for the Principal Thing" son britpop, al igual que sucede con otras bandas que no son precisamente de Inglaterra y cuyo sonido se etiqueta como britpop (ejemplos Super Furry Animals, de Gales, Brainstorm de Letonia e incluso Turf de Argentina). Eso para mí ya es subjetivo y no me gusta entrar en discusiones. Lo que si es que ya hace falta una parte 2 de este video pues existen muchas muchas muchas más bandas britpop que quedaron fuera y son muy oscuras, pero no sé cuánta gente vería el vídeo si lo hago (no se cuantos conozcan a Geneva, Doves o a Ooberman)

This song gets better with every listen. That stomach stomp keyboard is sick and the melody is so good. Great tune.
Never heard it til recently. I think it was a B Side? And it wasn’t included on Melting Pot. They were actually one of the best bands of the 90’s, so many great tracks, I forgot how good they were!

Is this the same recording that was actually used for the single re-release and album track? Sounds the exact same but just a different mix. The bass particularly seems louder, and there’s an omission of Mick’s backing vocals during the “Tonight, tonight” call & response bit at the end. 🤔
