I started playing this game on explorer. I do that with all new games that I start, because I don't know the mechanics yet. I've also never played a game like this before, so it's still new, but I *think* I'm getting the hang of it?...

If youre feeling discouraged at the fights, dont be. Ive been playing videogames for my whole life and had to turn down my first playthrough from balanced to explorer lol. Now that ive gotten a hang of the mechanics, I managed to complete an honour mode playthrough before I even finished my first playthrough. Itll get easier pretty quick! Most importantly tho, have fun!

this is a cool game but you will have to make the commitment to it as it is big game. One of the reasons people watch others play is because , no one has the same story. It's your adventure, everything you explore and every choice will matter at some point. What I mean is it's not so much about the game as it is about your personal adventure, good luck and most of all have fun. PS. Don't be afraid of trying things, mostly, if you can think it, you can do it.

Don't be discouraged that you have problems with the fights. Everybody starting that with no prior attachment to similar games or D&D has problems. I played very similar things before, but still started at explorer and had also some difficulties in the first fights. But you get used to it. There are some principles in fights that you have to learn (the hard way). And of course the dice rolls -- they can really be frustrating. Particularly when you need to hit and roll a Nat 1 (Critical Failure). Happens to me all the time -- hit chance 90%, but I miss with critical failure 😭 I hope to see more from you!

I would lighten up the brightness setting. I hope you keep playing BG3.

Being new to the game you might have wanted to play on explorer. I’m pretty sure you can change it whenever you want though. Also, was your mic not working for the opening scenes? You didn’t react at all to what was going on lol which is kinda the point of an LP. And yes, you can change your appearance at the mirror in your camp. Either way have fun! This game is amazing!

Your graphic setting is very dark, maybe a little bit too dark for that game therefore you didn´t see (and I didn´t see either on the screen because it was "pitch black"- ALTHOUGH you are playing a half elf which has "a natural dark vision by default" as racial characteristic = lighting up a little bit dark places which wasn´t the case on the screen due to the dark graphic settings) - that at the very begining when your character jumped out of that "thingy" where she was imprisoned that left beside that "thingy" was a way leading up to a chest.... and besides that parasite pool was lying a dead mindflayer to loot and from him there was a second way leading to an other chest. It really doesn´t matter that you missed those things - BUT my point is - that in that game you will encounter many dark places where it might be helpful to play with a little tiny bit lighter graphic settings in general to have at least the "dark vision" your character provides....just an observation and a tip.

I think the eyebrows are due to your graphics settings and judging by your performance so far, it doesn't look like playing on higher settings is an option. :(

Yay! Good to see you are still at the game. It is pretty good once you get to the city proper. But for the love of all that is holy, get a actual physical notepad and a pen. A lot of the clues are not noted on the Journal. So taking note of them yourself will help a lot

I just finished the game, same ending. I said no to the leviathan guy at 7:20 and as much as I could after. You actually tried to save the mythology professor guy, but I was just like "meh, he was kind of annoying", didn't bother to light the lanturn
