Learn to pay attention or be controlled by thought. Remember you are not the thinker. Everything just appears, in consciousness, all on its own. Dopamine is responsible for drive. Protect it... or spend it. How can you establish your path, your goals, without sufficient attention and focus? Practice improving your attention through an app called Waking Up.

how old are you? I am18 just finished highschool a few months ago and I don't know what to do with my life. I feel that I am just never enough for everyone if i don't be a buttkisser
I know how u feel man. It’s Social media mainly. It has made us unsociable and unauthentic. We try to appear something we’re not to fit in or look like we have it all together. I don’t as a 21 year old. You don’t know what to do with your life? What’s helped me take a couple steps forward is just putting the phone down and contemplating (sitting with yourself). You can use a journal whilst doing it to write stuff down e.g what you like to do or what you think you would like to do, what u want out of life etc. But be you. Find out what works and don’t listen to what society tells you about what you should be. A successful and meaningful life is different from person to person. Only you will know. All the best man. I hope you find what your looking for.👍
This video hit home! The dream vs. reality comparison with Fight Club and American Psycho was brilliant, especially considering they're 20+ year old films. It really makes you think about how fear can hold us back despite everyone having massive dreams. I especially liked raw nature of your video. Bro, currently I'm meeting a girl, she's almost my girlfriend.... Today we had our 2nd date and everything went perfect. I supposed to be working on the life that I want, I know how my life it's gonna be. But I haven't stepped into that reality yet. It takes sacrifice and a lot of more things. I got ride of all social media, and from all distractions in life to focus on the business that I'm working on. But shit I met this girl. And I've been saying to myself, I'm not gonna date any girl till I put my life in order, till I'm in a better position, etc etc... I feel like I can't enjoy too much in this relationship (and in any other) because my life is in mode success, not in mode love. I don't feel like enjoying too much the time that I spend with her because I heard that little voice in my mind every time saying, you should be working. And it's hard, because the time with her is magic as well, like I want to be with her the whole day... What do you think, there's any advice that you could give me?
Hey Alan, like you’ve said you have just been on your second date. It’s still earlier days man. From what I know about relationships, it takes time before people show their true colours. She could be for you, she may not be. Focus on your mission. Make that a priority. Let her know. If she’s along for the ride and wants to build something with you great, if not, then theirs plenty of others out there that will do just that. She wants you to have a plan and to be focused on working towards it. Let her know when your available and not available. You can still have fun with her. But that should come second to your goals. Because if it doesn’t work out, you will have nothing but yourself. When you said ‘I want to be with her the whole day’ I’m like bro that will get old fast. Trust me 😂 Anyway, all the best Alan👍

You know it's funny because I recently started talking to a female on a level that feels like It could be in a relationship for the first time since I was 15.. I am now 20 years of age and Il tell you what lad every time I'm with her I just feel like I prefer building myself first and being in my own presence first before sharing my life with someone else. Maybe its to do with being a young man and wanting more first before the search of a partner...
Hey Ryan, Mission comes first. Me personally, I’m not actively seeking for a partner but if someone I see out there does tick all the boxes then it’s worth considering. Anyway don’t worry about it. Us lads are like fine wine. We get better with age.
