YEARS AGO, At my last house I had a wonderful veg garden. I had dedicated the whole of my backyard to growing vegs. One year, it was a pumpkin patch. My tiny kitten loved that! He would prowl beneath the leaves and pop up here & there and yonder. BUT, then, one day my plants began to die for no apparent reason. I was stumped. Finally, I began to see gopher mounds. The little sobs were chewing my plant roots. So I stopped growing for a couple of years hoping they would go away. 2 years later with no mounds have been seen in a long long time, I planted. NOPE, those little sobs showed up out of nowhere and decimated my garden. The next year I put a couple of tomatoes in 5gal buckets. I got tomatoes but nowhere near as big or as many as when in the ground, so, then I just quit. GD sobs. !
Hello my friends it's great when I see your family is so happy Why don't you be a digital content creator on the UA-cam platform I see your garden and family are very reasonable Wish you soon have great backup I'm always ready to support and look forward to that I'm from Vietnam Asia
I live in Florida now and I have to process for 30 minutes my pickled beets.. pressure canning 30 minutes also. I wish I lived in an area where I could do only 10 minutes of processing. You are very lucky.!
@beverlyreynolds5686 Well now you have me second guessing what I did haha I did say 10 minutes in the video but I don't think I actually did 10 minutes. I live at a high altitude and I usually have to go longer than others. So I searched and found the recipe I used and it's from Allrecipes. It does say 10 minutes so I think that's why I said it but I knew I needed to do longer so I added 15 minutes to that per an altitude chart I found. I hope I did it right. 😊
I'm thinking so...I just have no idea how it got there. I hope the rest of the smaller plants are cucumbers. I read that squash and cucumbers aren't good companion plants. 😬
I’m eggstatic to see you guys are doing so well!!! It’s eggsactically what we hope for!!! Plenty of protein for all that eggsercise 😂No yoke, yall are our favorite UA-camrs, I’ve missed so much that yall have done, gotta go back and watch your videos!!!
I read that water can hold a tremendous amount of thermal energy before it evaporates and freezes. It's supposed to keep temperatures constant. We live at around 6,600ft elevation so it can get very cold at night. I probably don't need the water jugs in the summer but I leave them inside anyways.
Hey there! Great video. 😊 Sorry as I am just popping into your channel and maybe you’ve explained this elsewhere. Are the water jugs a form of heat control for end of season growth in the green house? I’m guessing so. Thanks for getting back to me when you have time. Take care, Annette🌺

I don't know yet. This was my first season with the greenhouse. They will be put to the test this winter when our temperatures reach into the negatives.

They won't pee and poop in the house if you have them litter trained
We do have a litter box in the shed for them. They will come inside when it gets cold in the winter.

It’s not a cucumber maybe a pumpkin or squash

What are the milk jugs for?

Awesome. My latest book involves a chicken, paramedic Chris and the runaway chicken.
I will check it out. Thank you
Good
Thank you
Looks like you needed alot more cow patties then you used.
Yes I should go get some more. I'm hoping that having the chickens in the greenhouse for the winter helped the soil and it gets better each year.
Do your 1 gallon water bottles help warm the greenhouse?
I don't know yet. This was my first season with the greenhouse. They will be put to the test this winter when our temperatures reach into the negatives.
The shape of your greenhouse looks really nice. Could you possibly provide the name of the company that you bought it from? Thank you!
It is from Growers Solution greenhouses. 🙂
Thank you very much!@@StartingFromSagebrush

You don't need to seal jelly or jam. We used to just pour melted wax made for canning on the top about an inch thick for storing.
Wow! Thank you so much for the advice. I'm going to have to try that. 😊
Wow, what a great and loyal husband!
I have one of these and I love it! I love doing milk, eggs, yogurt bites, strawberries, I also do full meals.
Nice! I definitely want to try all of those things! I did do a few yogurt bites and they are yummy. Full meals sound awesome. 😊
Keep updating i love to see how the green house stands for windy days
So far so good but winter is approaching. Fingers crossed 🤞
