This was made using xparticles with dynamics. Created helix and used flowfield to get the particles to follow path after she kicks the particles. I got the awesome high quality model from this link: renderpeople.com
Particle Dust Tutorial using CInema4D Xparticles, and Octane
Переглядів 3,8 тис.2 роки тому
This is to help others get up and running with your ideas. I know how to generate smoke from particle color in Explosia and render it in Cycles4D, but I'm trying to figure out how to get Octanes VDB Volume to respect the different smoke colors from Explosia cache files. Any help with that will be appreciated. I have tried to transfer the color data from the cache files in explosia, but the inpu...
How to Save Your Octane Materials Fast and Easy in (Cinema4D) Tutorial

This is a quick way of saving Octane presets. If you simply drag the materials to folder in content manager, it will not save the material with all sub materials. This way, it will keep its node structure. Including all sub-materials

Xparticles Particle Advection Tutorial using Octane Render Cinema4D
Переглядів 1,2 тис.3 роки тому
This is a simple and quick tutorial. Here I render Xparticles using Octane's instance color in two different ways. Use diffusion in one example and blackbody in the second. Hope it helps some of you octane users. The scene I rendered has hdri map and motion blur.

Thanks. Can I create subfolders in the LocalDB?
switch explosia to SMOKE DISPLAY ONLY
Hello. How can I get the plugins to export?
You can export from after effects in file menu. It’ll say export to cinema4d or something like that. Sorry. I’m not in front of my pc as I’m writing this.
Thank you.
How did you manage to render the constraints?
I actually don't remember. I think xptrail and octane tag on it rendering hair.
you already dug the roots out. not a real demonstration of power

Love your work, Homeboy! 👌 X
very effective'
Nice I wonder how you made water coming one direction... I was playing with waves and wind.. but it looks like you are moving the entire object through the scene. am i right?
I can't exactly remember how I did it. I think i had box cube emitting particles with kill object following along behind it.
This is pretty useful. I've looked for how to put Xparticles data into Octane Renderer for a long time. Really helpful. Thank you.
Glad it helped!
Seems Octane can render bcf files directly as Arnold and Redshift can but RS takes a real hit on load times whereas Arnold does not. What is it like with Octane in comparison to Adv Render load times ? and if there is a hit does vdb help ? Also what card(s) are you using and what are the render times for the later full frames ?
Load times are snappy. I've never tried anything else other than octane, so I don't know how it compares. I use 2 2080ti's. I usually render at about 600-1000 samples and use denoiser. It's been a while since I rendered much, so I'm a little out of touch with the specifics. Thanks for stopping by. I bought your tutorial series a while back. Very helpful.
Looks good I have a few experiments on my channel
Thank you so much! Could you please tell me what if I would like to change the particle size over its age?In this case this method will no longer works in Octane, Can you please help a brother out Drew? Thank you!
Hey Charles. If you delete the particle sphere from the octane tag (particle rendering). Then add scale modifier, you'll be set. Also.. Change the display setting in emitter to circles instead of dots to see scale values in viewport.
Cool, but how to add particles on this exposion?
Add a emitter with 0 speed at center. Turn on particle advection in explosiafx. Exclude the original emitter from modifier in explosiafx.
What is the voxel size?
.75 units on this one
i'm disappointed how come an artist like him don't get the deserved appreciation ?
Thanks for your appreciation and stopping by to visit my channel!
You read my mind !!! I was looking for something like this ! I am making a makeup explosion!! I got it to work but this way is better then how i did it
Cool. Glad to hear it helped you. Thanks for watching!
Such a simple one but so useful, thanks 😊
Thanks for watching!

@Joel Ricky No problem xD
Nice WORKK ^^ did u used the realflow software or the pluguin ?
Thank you for the comment! I use the Realflow software. I have the plugin, but really haven't used it much.
Can you please make a small tutorial of this video ???
Thanks for your interest in video. I would like to do a tutorial and possibly add more detail to this video.

I've never seen anything like that before. What a neat idea. very well done.
Thank you Javier. I'm really excited about putting more ideas out.
Yo Drew! I just stumbled onto this video when looking for some After Effects Tracking stuff! You nailed the tracking with colors on the car! You should make a little tutorial about how you did it! Cheers my friend and have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks man for the encouragement. I have been wanting to offer some tutorials on AE. Your comment really means a lot to me.
This looks so dope man!
Thanks for that compliment Gunnar Michels.
