Would you please provide more info on the wireless camera and ram mount your using? How about a link to where I can check them out for my tractor. Thanks. FredSG
Hello thanks for the question. all items were purchased off ebay, here is a list of the item numbers. Ram201u-d Ram235u Ram202u Ramhol-un11u and for the camera type in this number 144853006549 hope this help you out. thanks for watching. if you need anything else just holla.😂
They now come with a slip clutch. My unit was just delivered today but unfortunately the instruction manual does not say how to set the slip clutch. Along with once you slide it on the shaft of the grinder the grey box is in the way of tightening the bolts on the pto shaft and the slip clutch. Im waiting on mechmaxx to respond with an answer.
Nice work Lydell!
Thanks Jesse.
like a pro. looks good.
Thanks, my first time working one. as time goes on I should get a lot better. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Nice job, nice setup
Thanks Bro.
At the 14:30 mark is that as deep as it will go or could you grind deeper?
No, it will grind much deeper. according to the pdf file, it will grind a stump thats 18" tall above ground, and 12" below ground. the video ur looking at was a stump I was doing for myself. 2" to 3" below ground is all I need for my personal yard. if ur doing it for someone else and they're willing to pay, then by all means grind it to the depth they're paying for. but for my yard anything pass 3" is a waste of time, plus a waste of cutting teeth. keep in mind one thing, I purchased this unit for grinding stumps on my property only, I have no intention of grinding stumps for other people. I have more work on my property then I can keep up with right now while I'm still working a full-time job. Hope this answer your question. thanks for the question, and thanks for watching.
Thanks for the reply. I have roughly 100 stumps with most of them being on an incline, so i will need to go deeper. One more question, how many shear pins if any have you gone through? I really wish this unit had a slip clutch. If you have time in the future, i would like to see a video of you grinding to max depth.
@treadinwithjohn only 1 so for, it was after grinding a stump that was 80" by 64" at my son's house. before I ever use my grinder, I went out and purchased 2 dozen shear pin. lol I already looked into installing a slip clutch on my unit. you can purchase it at tractor supply for around $300.00. it would be a easy upgrade for sure. once I decided to do it I will do a video on it.
Nice set-up
Nice that is an awesome setup!! Good breakdown on details on the product as well!!
Thank you.
nice work Lydell, now you can jam out its annoying to listen to nothing all day where did you get that stereo setup!!!
Stump grinder is the way to go
hello I just purchased a stump grinder about 3 months ago, I love it. Also just purchased a Bobcat 324 mini X about a month ago. My son had it for about 2 weeks before I brought it home. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Nice
Did you think it worked well and was worth $2,900? The video showed 5 minutes of grinding, but did it really take about an hour from start to finish?
It took a while for one, the stump was very hard, and for two I was being very careful due to being new at grinding stumps. The stump was measured 80" by 64" but yes I feel as though it's worth it price wise. if you do decide to buy one, be sure and add a camera so you don't have to be looking backwards the hold time. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Great video, these are the best ones out there to watch in my opinion. My tractor has rear controls on the remotes, so I’m hoping that will help keep an eye on things. I liked your last video with the hydraulic blocks from summit, I wondered how to set that up. Looks really handy!
@@jackvanschenck7276 it`s very handy if you can afford to invest in the 6 blocks system go for it, Ur be glad you did. oh, by the way, if money is tight, do like I did, get a PayPal account and pay by the month. lol😎
He did a really good job, no missed spots what so ever. Ive seen some horrible jobs. I just did mine with 25%, now wishing I had done 15%. Was expensive because it was top of the line 3m tint, by a top notch installer, $1300, and took a full day. I put glass back in the tractor 2 days later. Glass comes out very easy, dont know why all tinters dont remove it. It will make or break a tint job.
Yes it turned out great. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Land plane works great in certain conditions. I use one for my gravel driveway. Wish I had a hydraulic top link.
A land plane is about the easy attachment a person can use. not much of a learning curve with it. having a hydraulic top link and both hydraulic side links as well is a bonus. lol thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Looks like a Branson/TYM tractor which doesn't have a float feature on the loader.
Case IH Farmall 55A
is that the farmall? how's it doing?
Yes it is, I purchased it new in 2020, it has just a lil over 340 hours on it and is doing great. No problem at all with it.
@@brushhogginginthedirtysout5645 good to hear, i've been checking them out lately.
@JohnBraman413 Yes case equipment has been around for years on top of years. They have proven themselves as a company, that's why I went with this brand. This unit will even give you alart letting you know it's time to do your upcoming hourly check. such as your 50, 100, 300 hour check. The first two times it did it, it caught me off guard, but now I'm waiting on the 600 hour alert. lol can't ask for much better than that. 👍😎
Nice video, I have been tossing around how to integrate drone footage/audio.
Hello just go ahead and play around with it. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Man, I like that stump grinder!!!
Thanks bro.
That does really good on the size tractor! Nice Work!!
Thank you very much, and thanks for watching.
Man, that yard is manicured to the T
Thanks brother, I still more their to work on. I'm taking a week break from it so as not to get burned out on it. I have maybe 1 or 2 more days of work to do there before I'm done. I have a new piece of equipment coming to the channel today. Just waiting on the delivery truck to come today. I will be making a video on the delivery today, don't miss it. take care and thanks for watching.
Good intro brother. I smashed the subscribe button, cant wait check out all your future endeavors
Thanks for subscribing, thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching. Have a great day.
Take that no riding sign off😢
Some good footage
Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
This works for me thank you I'm gone try to make something like the black ones too
ok sounds great, I hope you enjoy working on them as much as I do. I can't wait to get started on building my pond. That will be around July or August of 2025. But looking on the bright side, I have that much time to build my habitats without getting in a rush. Good luck with your habitats, thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Put it down and ripp it man.
Lol I'm getting use to it. It's to wet to do anything here now, so I'm working on these fishpond habitats while I can. making plans to build a fishpond next summer. T hanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
I am very curious as how you actually use them in a fish habitat and see in action how the fish interact with them. Sounds very interesting but I’m not from the south 😊 but I am wondering how I might use them in my small fish pond or even how they are used visually.
Go on UA-cam and type in Mossback fish habitat. they make lots of fish habitat and show you how to put them out in your pond or lake. They also show underwater videos of their habitat in action with bait fish and predatory fish using them. thanks for the comment, and please subscribe to the channel.
I have Been reserching alot about This lately, your things looks great! If you have More Time i would try also to get ALOT of structures for baitfish and insects to make a wetland edge With big stones for heat catching if you are in colder climate and things like the honey hole nursery and buy alot of plastic christmas trees for very cheap and put them in a concrete cone so it have à good base and pointy.i have also looken in to the reefballs and make alot of smaller holes for baitfish. Super fun, i hope the fish love your project! I believe they Will !
"Thanks" I'm uploading a video now, from start to finish on how to make these habitats. my supervisor at work ask me to do the video, as well as make him 50 of the smaller ones. lol I have some green package band ordered to make some grass habitat, so stay tuned for those coming up by next week I hope. Thanks for commenting and be sure and subscribe if you haven't already.
@@brushhogginginthedirtysout5645 awesome man! The fishing is going to be great! If you have a dock around the house or want to make your dock crazy. Bo-jo light its called! Im sure it is possible to make one if one also
I'm looking to see what is Bo jo lights.
@@AntonLindberghok I found the bo jo lights. I was planning on getting some of those. Just didn't know wat they were called. 😂
I'm still a ways off from the lights yet. I haven't got the pond dug yet.😂
the hole in the top that you put the pipe in is the hole you use to take the blade off. you look in the hole and rotate the blades till you see one of the nuts, then put your impact on it and the bolt and blade falls off. then rotate to last but and repeat the process. good job getting the stump jumper off i have to complete this task next week to replace my stump jumper. and i am going to try your technique of using a puller. thanks for the insight.
I tried taking the bolts out the blades with a electric impact but didn't have any luck, so I call Hardee and they told me how to remove it. it only took 5 minutes to remove it after talking to Hardee. when removing the stump jumper, take the nut off the stump jumper, set the bush hog flat on the ground, and take a 36" long pipe and slide it through the top of the cutting deck. I used a corner chain link fence pole myself, make sure the pipe sits around the nut that holds the blade on. take a 10 lb. hammer and hit it about 6 times, spin the stump jumper around and do the same on the other nut. it should drop right off. if not repeat both steps until it come off.
@@brushhogginginthedirtysout5645 I am just starting to change blades on a Howes brush hog I got from a neighbor who passed. He was not too good at maintaining his equipment, same blades have been on there since 2003 ..21 years! They are about as sharp as a baseball bat. 1/2 inch impact won't budge the blade nuts even after heating so now have to do like you did beat the stump jumper off. I'm in my late 70s so not looking forward to this job but its got to be done . Watching you gives my hope 😁
Good
Man, that a heck of a setup
Thanks brother, it's working out great.
When you had the puller maxed out on impact gun, all you do is whack the stump jumper with a 3lbs hammer and it will pop free...
I ended up calling Hardee, they told me how to remove it. I had it off in 5 minutes after talking to them. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
How ur tractor running sir
It's running great, no problems with it. It's has over 300 hours on it as of now. thanks for the question, and thanks for watching.
Drill 2" holes on the round plate on either side of the bar that connects the blades , then use a 2jaw puller.
Thanks I have off, new blades installed, and back in operation. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Man you are absolutely right about those do not litter sign.
Yeap they just think trash is being thrown down now, just you wait. I was picking trash up next to some property that I have next to a roadway, the next day they threw out twice as much. So, I stop picking it up, the people that live next to that property started picking up. I live about 3 miles from it, so I didn`t have to look at it. 😡
You better take a break and get a glass of lemonade with lots of ice!
It was very Hott that day brother. Thanks for the comment, and Thanks for watching.
That thing looks like a lot of fun to operate. So cool!
It very smooth, and very quiet. it's been raining alot here, but looking forward to playing with it once it dry up. thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Excellent job.
Thank you, and thanks for watching.
Im as frustrated as you are. Please rename your video to " how the thing doesnt come off! Id thank you for less time wasted. I used air bags foe openig car doors then hammering. It worked great. Thanks
That thing beat me down🤣, but it's all over now, I won. lol 😆 Thanks for watching.
Man that's a long wrench 🔧
Yes it is. lol
I see you hard at it
Yeap big limb broke. lol
Love this video keep up the good work buddy 😊
thank you, and thanks for watching.
I found that using vice grips to squeeze the roll pin makes it a lot easier.
Great tip, thanks for watching.
Good job Brother. You definitely thought this through
It was a rough 2 days of working on it, but after talking to Hardee about it, they walked through it. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Very good. I am the same age and that doesn't any . Good job
Thanks for watching.
That's a new mower all the way around
lol yeap, it's should be good for warranty now.
It did upset me, watching you put all those extra nuts on the allthread, you only needed 2 nuts to pull, Then, on the tree, the first nut, you did fine by starting at the 12:00 position, so gravity worked for you, not with you... BUT, then I thought about it.... EVERYBODY has to learn, at least you put in the effort, Good job!
Yes it was a tough go, wish I had call Hardee first, the shop guy over there told me how to get it off. after doing what he told me it came right off with no problem. Just goes to show you, you never get to old to learn something new. at 65 years of age that thing beat me down. 🤣 Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
@@brushhogginginthedirtysout5645 Yup, I'm 63, and own an auto shop, I get beat down e-v-e-r-y day, All ya gotta do is put 1 foot in front of the other, and that's exactly what ya did my man,
Thanks again.
Man you have really really outdone yourself on that mower. Look good my friend
Thanks I'm almost done with it. Time to put it to work.
Man they hooked you up😊😊
Yes, they did, they done a fine job.
Safety is important
Ur absolutely right. Thank's for watching.
You're going to enjoy that mower.
Yes I am. lol
