I am a Muslim Alhamdulillah. And to be honest with you, only Allah knows the exact number. Because, a population census has not been done recently, and the 1997 census is not that reliable, so I cannot say that Orthodoxy is the majority. There are also a significant number of Muslims, besides that, some Orthodoxies are converting to Protestantism now days, so I don't think it is right to think that Orthodoxy covers a large number in Ethiopia. Somalia, Afar, Harar, Wolo in half, Oromia more than 70 percent, Silte, Gurage etc.. these are all regions where the majority are Muslim. And the Oromo population is estimated to be over 40 million. Ethiopia is estimated to have a population of about 120 million. Orthodoxy is most prevalent in Gojam, Gondar, Showa, Tigray, etc. Don't forget that Ethiopia is the first country of Hijra. Muslims did not immigrate from Makkah to Mednah for the first time, but to Ethiopia / Habsha.

We do not use the words mentioned in this video a lot. And there is no much words like these one. But try to learn Amharic with open heart for it, it is not that much difficult.
