Also Ikanaide, which he streamed for the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, in Japanese, Fly Away another New Wave performance, in English, his brand new song, Fire, debuted at his Stranger tour concert in Astana in September, only available via fan cam. In this presentation, back to "The Singer" (I'm a Singer 2024), Dimash participates as a guest and Chanté Moore competes for the award. In this context, we see (just as it was with "You Raise Me Up" with the children, in China) a more restrained Dimash and serving as a "ladder" for Chanté's brilliant performance. It's a shame they didn't win this duet and it's a shame Chanté didn't advance in the program, after her other performances! time: Chanté Moore is already an experienced singer: Born in 1967 (57 years old) and maintains an impressive youthfulness! Chanté has over 30 years of experience singing R&B! A behind-the-scenes curiosity: The choice of which guest will sing with the participant is made in the program by the production team. Dimash, considered a Chinese "adopted" by the program, was selected for Chanté Moore (one of the criteria was to place the participant with a guest Chinese artist) and they had to agree on the song to be sung. Dimash asked Chanté which song she preferred to do and she replied that Loose Control was in her proposals to be presented during the program... Dimash said that was ok and that she would take the spotlight, while he would do the harmonization! It was excellent, even though the duo didn't win!

One minute Dimash is duetting with Placido Domingo, then with different female Chinese singers, then doing R & B with Chante then duetting with Hauser, the cellist. He is so diverse, forever pushing himself. In between he put on two concerts in Europe etc.

This isn't the best song for DIMASH, unlike Chante, which this is right up her alley. But, I luv that DIMASH is game to try and gives it his all. It is hard switching from Classical to Contemporary music genres. 👽🇰🇿

It was considered to be mainstream, and indeed, it was. And mainstream was considered to be awfully uncool. 40 years had to pass, in order to allow me to admit that I liked it.

You have to take a lot of what is being said with a grain of salt. I see plenty of videos that go on about the racial aspect of basketball...and it is at best exaggerated. White people didn't watch basketball because of Bird. People were fans of their teams mostly by proximity. I live in eastern Pennsylvania, so when I was younger I was a 76ers fan, and idolized Dr. J. It didn't matter that I was white and J was black. I was a 76ers fan because of where I lived (and that my dad was a 76ers fan). What Larry Bird and Magic did was make basketball fun to watch even when your team was eliminated. They were both able to pull off amazing moves, and their rivalry added to the fun. Some athletes are just fun to watch. At the time I was also a Steelers fan, but Randall Cunningham (from the Eagles) was also one of those players that could sometimes do the impossible. It was fun to watch him even if he wasn't your team.

Skynyrd has a variety of tempo with their specific sound. This song is one of my favorites, the instrumentation just fits the song. If you want one with some toe tappin' with it, check out "Call Me the Breeze". They have plenty even with their unfortunate short career.

I love your open way of looking at things, and I know you're trying to parse the meaning. Sometimes men and women are simply talking different languages. "Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first" means a 32 year old man took a 19 year old's virginity, among other power dynamics in the relationship. That's a predatory power imbalance in any case, but when the older man had more success and power than the younger girl in the same industry, it's especially gross.

So many songwriters never get their music to see the light of day. And so SILENCE like a Cancer grows. The Disturbed version/video is one that's best listened to in a dark room at full volume, for best result. It gives it such a deeper feeling
