I forgot how wonderful this movie is! It might be one of the greatest movies ever made, it's just perfect. I remember watching A Christmas Carol with my grandmother, she loved it. Thank you for posting it and although it's late (or early), Merry Christmas!

A great story wonderfully told!

I was in my late 20s before I was aware of this film. That was in the early 80s when the early cable networks repeatedly broadcast this and other Christmas classics that were still in the public domain. Our TV was on all day and these movies added as much to the Christmas atmosphere as any decorations.

My sister and I (I’m 74 now) watched this every year growing up. It took me forever to find this so thanks for posting 🙏 Please keep it up for next year

It wouldn't be A Chiasmas Carol without actor Alastair Sim, he made the Best Scrooge. Growing up during the 1960's throughout to date this version of Scrooge is the best ever ! I'm glade that I caught it just in time for Christmas - THKS HUMBUG ! LOL ! 🌲

I first watched this in 1957 (age 7 yrs). My older brother explained the movie to me. It's been my Christmas Eve ritual ever since, to watch this version of the story.

Brilliant episode, no spoiler at all in the uk before this storyline went live on itv in a 3 part special, certainly didn’t expect the death of one of the main characters in the series. 1992 we had the Blake & Meg storyline where Meg Bowman slowly passed away in a 2 part special of leukaemia & then in 1993 the storyline of Bobby Marshall (Simpson) death in a tragic speed boating accident, having her life ventilation system switched off. So in 1996 when Shane was killed off from blood poisoning (Septicemia) it was a huge shock considering the big names that left previously & then to top if off the same year as shane, only a few months later Michael Ross is killed off in the Summer Bay flash flood storm. 😮

We lost the club in 2023 because of lies told to us so we are not there anymore thanks for nice comments x
