Few things have to be mentioned here before coming to a possible conclusion: 1. He was not sorry for cheating but rather ashamed when he was caught because of the pain and suffering it has caused her. Hence the crying and begging. 2. I do believe the husband loves the wife because of the remorse shown for several months and trying to endure her anger. 3. The husband cheated with a very young and seemingly rather unattractive lady because he’s in it for the regular sex while the wife is away rather than wanting to replace the wife with a better model. (Not an excuse but an explanation). 4. The weak text message he send the side chick warning her not to bother him anymore is not convincing anyone. The notion that the small girl is the aggressor and that he’s helpless towards her advances is comical. I think deep down the wife knows that this is just a stunt to cool her down. She doesn’t believe it to be final. Women easily forgive mistakes but not patterns. 5. The wife is upset because she believed her husband had a no-go area e.g. not jeopardizing her health/life or defiling her marital bed/home. (Men are sometimes unfortunately very simple minded beings who think about their primitive needs and own comfort first). 6. It is honorable that she wants to keep marital issues between her and her husband but in grave situations like this elderly family members have to be involved. She should have reported the cheating and the infertility threatening infections to HIS parents so they hold him accountable. Despite all the points made above only time and active repentance by the husband can heal her. A lot of women go through this pain. Leaving the marriage is not the answer (behind the hurt there’s still love on both sides). Punishing him forever with anger is not the answer either. There could be a time where she might regret her hastily and emotional decision. She should rather continue doing her duties without being emotionally involved and try to live her own best life until she’s emotionally ready to let him back in. And prayer of course. In my opinion I think you should forgive your husband because not all men will beg after they are caught cheating they will end up leaving you for the person instead pls 4 months is enough try rekindling the love and I bet he’s not going to do it again
