This is so great, thank you for putting this up! I'm just finding live JB recordings from different concerts like little reups or something. Man, I feel like I've watched so much Julien now (especially after having seeing her live) that I know like -- all her (particularly obvious) tics and whenever she seems particularly annoyed at herself or nervous, I'm just holding my breath like NO YOU'RE SO OKAY YOU DESERVE THIS <333 And like. Dude, I have my own shit, I know she's used to dealing with it, but it's so relatable and I just want to give her a hug...even at the same time that I'm watching this all chinhands like "how is this person so crazily talented"

Came through my little college town home of Carbondale, Il about eight years ago. One of the most spellbinding performances I’ve ever seen. Jonathan looks right into your soul when he’s singing….must have been similar to what he felt when he saw Lou and the Velvets all those years ago. Simply magical. The simplicity and quiet power knocked me out. Love you, Jonathan.

Her vibe i feel is more authentic to the core meaning of the song than the OG. Shes absolutely lovely for so tastefully repackaging a timeless classic. Thats all we ask when contemplating a good cover. <3 <3 <3
