Little Christmas Tree

A song I put together based on the poem "Little tree" by E. E. Cummings in 1923 Upbeat modern spin on it.
This came out really well, you never know what you will get generated when you put covers in! This came out great!
Thanks, wanted to give my brain a break from the lyrics writing and just have some fun so I don't burn out lol and what better way to do that than universal Christmas songs, lessens the chances of stepping on toes accidentally . :) Thanks for listening
I gave a thumbs up to the video and I wanted to give one to everyone that wrote in but ran out of time to read them all. God bless our veterans. God bless America. From a bomb loader in the Air Force that spent several Christmas’s on lonely flight lines around the world.
👍🏻🇬🇧🇨🇦🎸🥁🤗
Such a fun Christmas tune, I am digging your Christmas music!
💙💙💙
Hey, we had a similar titled song, but they sound totally different, that is really cool! Good job!!! 🎄🎄🎄
Who doesn't love a good dog song!!
Another great one.
Love it.
Really interesting idea that worked really well! Listened in full and liked!
Catchy!
I remember spending Christmas in the middle east during OEF/OIF. I wish I could have heard this beautiful poem back then in 2002. So thankful that God allowed me to come home. I still think of the ones that didn't, they are the true heroes
Respect honneur intégrité 😊❤
Another lovely song. 💙

A SOLDIER'S SILENT NIGHT MERRY XMAS FOR ONE'S THAT'S NEVER CAME HOME YOUR ARE NOT FORGOTTEN 2024
A plaintive thought provoking song full of meaning and a great sound :)
GOOD MORNING FOLKS On Monday 11.11.2024 we will recall to memory the brave men, women and kids who have served our Republic the United States Of America. These wonderful honorable souls have served in all branches of the military the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, US Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Navy Seals, Green Berets and all of the rest of our services. Memorial Day is the day we Remember those who have died in battle and from their wounds suffered. Veterans Day we remember and honor the brave souls who are still with us, many are in their 80's, the last of the men who served in WW2, Korea, Vietnam, the Middle East etc. Our Rights come from GOD the Creator and not from some politician or judge. Our RIghts are protected not just by our Republics Constiution but by the very men and woman who dons the uniform of the US Military wearing Our FLAG on their Uniform. Brave souls who swear before GOD Almighty to defend America and her people from all enemies foreign and domestic (hint politicians to name a few). These souls go to fight for all us and in so many cases not just for the USA, but for other nations who need our help. I would like to see a law nay better is an Amendment to the US Constitution that no politician, judge, etc may be upon their death be buried in any National Cemetery where our Brave Souls Lay. That any Politician, Judge who dis respects any member of the military alive and dead, be removed from office, this includes those buggers who want to defend our military men and women who do not pay their respects and support the promises made to these souls who fought for the USA. That no monies may be used for any porkects or peoples who are not US Veternas, including the trafer of funds for Veterans and our military to support Illegal Aliens/Refugees etc. That no Veteran or their family will be allowed to not receive medical care physical, mental etc and no Veteran shall ever be allowed to go homeless. That no federal, state, local building, road, hospital, library etc shall be named for any politician or judge or anyone who has not served full time in any branch of the US Military. That no ship, camp, aircraft etc shall ever be named for any politician or judge who has not served in the US Military. The only names that shall be placed on such buildings, ships, aircraft etc shall be the name of a US Veteran. I think no President, Vice President nor anyone who would be in the succession to the office of POTUS and VP shall assume that high office, nor run for these offices unless that have 4 full time years in a front line posting. That all politicians, judges, federal agency, employees shall be the 1st to be drafted to serve in the military of the USA. This shall apply to previous politicians, judges in all branches of our government their children, grand children, great granchildren etc. The less than 1% of the men and women serving are taken from our rural areas, and suburbs. Some are from inner cities. But it is hard to find a politicians kid, grand child etc ever serving. Politicians, Judges must be the role model if they are to lead America. They need to feel the same pain us the regular American when our sons, daughters are injured or die from the battles these politicians and judges allow to happen. When you dine out on Monday 11.11.2024 will you send a message to everyone, a silent memorial an extra place setting ad a note to say Thank You for your Service to a Grateful Nation. God Bless You and Yours. The other favor I ask is when you see a notice in the paper or online, that a person has passed on, it will usually state they served in one of the branches of the military. Send a note of Thanks for their service, many can do this online or a card The saddest thing is so many of the senior citizens who have served and are dying or have died, no one comes to their service or even the church or internment. We have seen in some cases a group of young men have taken it upon themselves, to be pall bearers, attend at the wake for this departed soul and give this man, woman, whom they never met, the honors due them for their sacrifice to our Republic. In most cases these young men are high school students and what a grand gesture these young fellows do. You can tell they were raised with respect and love of Country and all who have Served Her. I know I ask a lot, sorry but I would rather do this for a Veteran than any useless politician or judge any day. Remember this folks if you love your FREEDOMS from GOD and our Constiution remember a Solider has given their lives for you and they never even met you. Pax+ “It is the Soldier, not the minister Who has given us freedom of religion. It is the Soldier, not the reporter Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer Who has given us freedom to protest. It is the Soldier, not the lawyer Who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the Soldier, not the politician Who has given us the right to vote. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag.” ― Charles M Province
A Soldier Died Today (Just A Common Soldier) Original poem by A. Lawrence Vaincourt He was gettin’ old and paunchy and his hair was fallin’ fast, As he sat around the Legion, tellin’ stories of the past. Of a war that he once fought in, and the deeds that he had done, Of his exploits with his buddies; they were heroes, every one. And tho’ sometimes, to his neighbors, his tales became a joke, But his buddies they really listened, ‘cause they knew from whence he spoke. But we’ll here his tales no longer for old Bob has passed away, Now the world’s a little poorer, ‘cause A Soldier Died Today. No, he won’t be mourned by many, just his friends, his kids, his wife, ‘Cause he lived a very ordinary, sorta quiet kind of life. He held a little job and he raised his family, he just went quietly along his way, So the world won’t note his passing, ‘thou A Soldier Died Today. When politicians leave this earth and their bodies lie in state, Thousands note their passing and proclaim that they were great. Yes, the news tells their life stories, from the time that they were young, But the passing of a soldier, it goes unnoticed and unsung. Is the greatest contribution to the welfare of our land, Some clown who breaks his promises and cons his fellow man? Or the ordinary fellow who in times of war and strife, Feels the need to serve his Country and he offers up his life? The politician’s stipend and the style in which he lives, Ha! They’re so very disproportionate to the service that he gives. While the ordinary Soldier, who offers up his all, Is paid off with a medal and perhaps, a pension small. It’s not the politicians, with their promises and ploys, Who won this thing called freedom that our Country now enjoys. And if you find yourself in danger, with your enemies at hand, Would you really need a politician with his daily changin’ stands? Or will you need a soldier, who has sworn that he’ll defend, His home, his kin, his Country, and who’ll fight until the end? Yes, he’s just a common soldier and his ranks, they’re growin’ thin, But his presence should remind us we may need him once again. And this country with its conflicts, just what’s the soldier’s part? It’s to clean up all the troubles that the politicians start. If we fail to give him honor while he’s here to hear the praise, then at least let’s pay him homage at the end of his days. Just a simple headline in his hometown paper that’ll say, OUR COUNTRY IS IN MOURNING, ‘CAUSE A SOLDIER DIED TODAY.
11 11 2024 A somber day as we remember so many brave souls from all wars who went to fight and protect not just America but all countries Been a bit of bad day recalling many of my high school buddies who enlisted right after graduationtp go to Vietnam and never came home. Tho I enlisted in USN, I served in the Mediterranean and then locally at WIllow Grove Naval Air Station (not closed sadly, but this was where the big planes with the big stinger at the rear. These were the sub planes capable of dropping sonar devices to track sub movements. Never met my two cousin from WW2 and Korea killed in those wars, they were ranger and green beret. My 2 uncles Al and Louie, both brothers, married to my Pops sister Mary and Julia. Louise served in the Pacific and was a POW Al he served under Gen Patton in the Battle of the Bulge WHen we look at the souls who serve our nation less than 1% of the population serve and shed their blood for America and her people. They shed their blood for most of the time great human beings, but sadly their blood is shed for undersirables, politicians, judges, college kids etc who hate America. They show this in their wokeness and abuse of Our Flag our Anthem, how they demand to be heard and in violence, yet when opposed they take even more to violence. But the souls who put the uniform on shake their heads, eat cold meal, stand watch and pray that today is not the day they hear the bullet meant for them. When they get a break for rack time (sleep), they sleep with one eye open and their rifle at the ready. They will go into the enemy's nest to save a buddy life. When I say buddy they may not even know the guys name, does not matter, anyone wearing Our Uniform is a buddy a brother in arms. They will take care to bring that buddy back to get a medic to help. They will hold them as only a buddy and brother can, comforting the poor soul who is bleeding out. They will cry as their buddy bleeds his life out for AMerica and all of her peoples. He will close his buddies eyes at the end and hug him to his breast until the medic tells him its time to go. He will look back as his buddy is no more, he will wipe those bitter salty tears from his eyes and then will do what is expected get back there and eliminate the enemy. I know we all pray to GOD the Creator that there will be no more wars. But as long as men and women in office, poiticians, judges and the like who for the most part have never ever put the uniform of a military man or woman on and served in a forward position, will they ever know. Look at the last 6 decades and check history, see how many politicians, judges and the scum of federal and state governments have allowed or better insisted their kids, grandkids, great grandkids, go to the military and not some cushy judge free from a front line. The 1% who serve are not from the upper class, the rich and famous. Nay they are the common boys and men from the farms, ranches, suburbs and inner cities. Many have never had a break in their life and they see being in the military as a good chance of being free from domestic violence and gangs. So many of our men and women, young and old, some under 18 who got in from parents signing the papers or by changing their bird date. These souls are the true Patriots folks these and the men and women who have served in the past are the truest of Patriots to America. So yes folks we remember our Veterans, and the date 11/11/ is a permanent date from the Armistice of WW1, Other countries call today which in my mind and heart if a holy day just as Memorial Day is, Rememberance Day, Poppy Day. Whatever we call the day, let us never forget you and I and the ignorant woke morons in office, teachers, professors who hate America, it is these SOULS These MARTYRS who must be honored by those of us who Love America So please set an empty place for that solider, mariner, navy, air force, coast guard, merchant marine, who did not make it home. How about we do that today and at every family holiday, how about Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chaunaka, New Years, Easter (set place setting 1 for HIM, 1 for the military man/woman). Sorry to have shared these thoughts. But I bet you thought about saying these things that have bothered you for years. SO pass it along. Lets get America back to being GREAT AGAIN and stop the WOKE NONSENSE which starts in our schools and infects so many supposedly smart people. God Bless Our Veterans then, now and in the future God Bless OUR REPUBLIC, remember we are not a democracy no matter what morons tell you. Be well be safe and remember everything you have came from GOD and protected by our military Pax+
