I struggle with that stupid sensor as well This is my 4th engine protection bars I’m mounting on the F engine. So it’s gets easier. I took a shorter M6 bolt. Don’t remember the exact dimension. But try 5mm or 10mm shorter?? Then you haft to have surgical skills in your hands 😂😂😂

@RonnieLundberg I'm wondering if I can loosen the bolt holding the sensor and rotate it out of the way some? The way it's positioned, I can't even get a wrench on the back of it. I'm also wondering if the bolt is even all that necessary? I'm really at a complete loss in trying to get it in.

I can measure it when I get my bike back from the 1000km service.

Hi 36cm from bottom to the top of the windshield. And from top of the windshield and down to the little nose tip under the lamp is 56cm

I have ridden it on the highway now. I am 180cm long In +100km/h It doesn’t protect so good. It you think the top of the windshield and +5cm is ok. (In a straight line front to back) The rest is wind turbulence 😮 I had to position myself like if you ride a sport bike to avoid the wind. And that is not so comfortable in longer distances In 70km/h it’s ok. It looks cool (like a Dakar bike) that’s positive 🏆🏆🏆🏆

@@RonnieLundberg that is an awesome looking bash plate. Thanks for sharing. Have you ever tried fitting highway pegs to the crash bars? It looks like the angles would make it difficult to mount them properly ?

@RonnieLundberg yes, but I have the f900gs. Is it in the same place? I looked, but could not see the plug. (I had the 850 before trading for the 900. )

I have only ridden my bike with the original windshield for 50km. Then I took my bike apart for paint and other parts. So I haven’t ridden it with this windshield yet.
