Good video, every bike is different. I have seen many Specialized Tarmac replicas broken. About Chinese frames and replicas there is a difference, you have many Chinese brands that makes good quality bicycle frames with their own brand, for low price. The problem with the replicas, they try to copy the structure but it will never be the same quality. If you need to claim a warranty in most cases it's very difficult. Independent from where something come from, the most important thing is the build quality from it. For example I ride with Chinese Nepest Wheels and they are awesome.

Great work! It took a lot of time but it worth it. Just think how much time you would save if you had to do it again and you got a niche to be covered. Do not forget the specify the budget you invested that would be very interesting.

In the past I have had good expériences with fake Ali frames. This one overall is well built, but I already had to repair one in the seatpost area, the "suspended" part... It cracked after few km. Apparently was a poor carbon layer displacement, resulting in a thinner wall thickness

Last year the market was flooded with cheap but original KTM frames. I've build my own and i'm super pleased with results

I ride a fake Cipollini and I love it. Dreaming of owning a real one in the future, but these frames are just too damn expensive. Bike industry is an off-ripping hoax lately, really.

I also know the CSC wheels well, they are very good for the price. For the road test the results are astonishing. I explain that too. I was able to compare with authentic bikes.

Inspired by the first video in this series, I did price out a build with the legitimate Chinese brands (both aluminum and carbon), I couldn't get under the 1200-1800 USD price point I was looking at for a entry level gravel bike, shipping costs definitely added up a lot, for a frame or wheelset those can easily run $100+ to the USA. Then my hot water heater died, taking the project's funding away. So I got a $400 7 year old road bike secondhand 😐

built a Chinarello 6 years ago.. i ride it weekly year round... still waiting for it to fall apart like everyone told me it would... only problem i had was with the Shimano ultegra 8000 .. hard to believe its the stock not the fake stuff i had problems with..
