COLLEGE MOVE IN vlog || GCU dorm TOUR! || Decorate with me!
This fall was my first semester at Grand Canyon University, and this was my dorm! I stayed in Sedona hall, and I loved it! It is in the best location of all the GCU dorms in my opinion. I had SO MUCH FUN decorating! My roomates and I got so many compliments on our room when people walked by! If I stayed on campus again I would get an apartment just because I missed having a kitchen and being able to cook, but dorms are great for freshmen!

Oh girl, it will get better! Put yourself out there, and make sure not to spend all the time in your room. Getting a job there, or joining a club or church there will for sure help. ❤ My daughter is going to be a sophomore in Tennessee (two hours from where we live) it’s close enough to visit, but far enough away to not come home every weekend. And she struggled the first semester with loneliness and making friends. She got involved with an on campus devotional group of all girls, and her second semester she got involved in church and it really helped. She also joined a club, with others in the same major. Her issue is that she doesn’t drive, and she didn’t have a room mate for a large part of the first semester. So it was a little harder for her. So I understand your nervousness and anxiety.
Does Canyon and Cypress have floor kitchens at all?
@@rosslange5355 No, not that I’m aware of. The only dorm kitchens at GCU are in the apartments. I ended up getting moved into a different dorm so I didn’t live in it.
