B. C. Tactical and Survival was born from the Brotherhood of a group of U.S. Infantry Soldiers to teach, learn, and spread awareness and ideas to the community at large. We are Veterans, retired Infantry, Police Officers, and concerned citizens that hope to help others in their quest to find peace of mind in the unpredictability of today's world. We are known as the Bastard Cats. We were designated with this name because just as the neighborhood cat makes his way through the dark streets; we prowl the night removing the rats that infest your homes. We are loved and respected, but are not allowed a home because we do not fit the mold of society. We are the ones called upon to do the work that others cannot. We are the Bastard Cats! If you would like to contact us for sponsorship opportunities or to review items that you produce, or sell please feel free to contact us at aoat124@gmail.com

That's not 511
For a minute, I thought it might be mine. I was stationed at Bearcat with the Royal Thai Army Black Panther Infantry Division in 1968-69 as a liaison officer, My Randall was stolen from my quarters at our main base by a Vietnamese civilian who delivered water by truck to that main base. I carried it everywhere in the field but left it at the base on occasion. I never got it back. Unfortunately, this is not my knife. Somebody in Long Thành, Vietnam still has mine to this day. LT JP, US Army, Vietnam
I have a photo of me wearing it…….thanks for this article. Brings back a lot of memories. 🇺🇸👍
Mine had the straight blade with out the turned up part towards the end. I had never seen this model. I suspect yours was made mid 1960s or ?
That is a hell of a story my friend. No telling where your knife is. I know what it's like to lose a good knife. Feels like your underwear's gone or your favorite tooth got pulled. Thanks for reaching out with your story, and thank you for all you did in Vietnam from one old dogface to another. Ssgt. Ret. Kelly Baker
Almost every Vietnamese working on US bases were working for the other side as well…lol a buddy of mine was a medic for the 3rd of the 39th and he was involved in the heavy fighting in Mini Tet around the ‘Y’ bridge, Cholon May 68. Hell the communist are more capitalistic than we are. Put an ad for it on E-Bay Vietnam, I bet they’ll find 10 of them. I never got a chance to host the Royal Thai contingent, but we did work that area around bearcat and Rung-Sat.
3:19 dont like text , too huge , like a walking commercial , i think Counter Tac 1 is the best !
How long have you had the Rambo knife ? I should have bought one years ago ❤
I would love this Knife
Captain Spaulding fried chicken
1970 when they started the..........l like them bowie knifes
new sub, sick content!! :D
I appreciate that, my friend! Good to have you with us!
Mine shaved right out of the package.
Thank you!!!
I seen one of these in a store called World of Knives in a mall in Oklahoma City in 85 or 86.
I have often dreamed of opening a knife store, but I wouldn't sell any of the knives...so that would make it a knife museum or a gallery. Yes! A knife gallery! At any rate, thank you for watching and commenting Brother! I appreciate you taking the time.
My mother got me one for Christmas in the late 80’s. Best Christmas ever. This really brings back memories
I heard about that knife. It's legendary. SOF and LRPPS carried them.
Thats true my friend! It's a baaaaad blade!
thanks for the video. Wish there were links to the products. How well does that wooden stick hold up? Sadly I couldnt make out the name of it.
God bless you Amen 🌹
Thank you my friend. May GOD bless you!
Not falling for these aluminum sticks again - First time using the tacti staff and the threads came apart leaving me with destroyed threads and a worthless piece of metal. PURE GARBAGE
I know that's true Brother!
It get's dark weird and funky every time my ex shows up.
If you collect patches and your a proud American you should be able to wear military patches. Now if you were military patches and your telling people your a veteran and especially if your getting veterans benefits in anyway from pedaling to purchase o medical then you have everything that coming to you. Some collectors of military things like to wear what they got. But i also understand the angry veteran.
This would be great for a cave man living in the wild.
True that my friend! If Neanderthals had these, they wouldn't be extinct!
My spirit animal for real.
Can I keep it as a pet?
Just kidding, opossums are much cuter
Wow a piece of aluminum pipe, amazing !
Other than charging more for something because it has the word tactical in it. what does it really mean.
I'd love some gear man

High as Giraffes nuts? Damn right! That's way over my head!
Violent Little Machine Shop is out of business. Yanne retired. Tactical Outfitters has his remaning inventory for sale.
Yeah, he told me the last time we talked. That's a real bummer. I have one of his original survival kit patches which were huge! Glad I have some of his stuff. Thanks for commenting Brother! I appreciate you!
@AOATSURVIVAL definitely a bummer. Back atcha.
I got one of those knifes but im pretty sure it aint one from the commercial because the handles were plastic so i think the dude who had it before me made molds of the parts and poured molten metal to make a better version of the knife because my whole knife is made of metal
I think my Dad got me and my Brother's from a traveling knife salesman back in the day. We felt like such badasses with those knives and our pellet guns. Nothing could kill us back then!
Great vid...This was actually modeled after the Lile Rambo First Blood part 2 knife...I had one with a black blade, although I could have had one with a camo sheath too, just like in the ad...I am sure mine had a plastic handle...it wasn't until a couple of years after that, when I got one called 'The Rambo Side Arm', which had a pot metal handle, and a larger more screen accurate Lile mission knife blade profile. It still had an unpainted blade, and still had a compass in the top of the pommel, but was flat and not round. Great times, and thanks for reminding me of a great childhood. :)
Thank you for watching and commenting, my friend. I had a ball in those days. My Brother is gone now. He was shot by his estranged girlfriend. I remember our times together fondly. These old cheap knives sure do help.
Ty for taking the time to do this review
Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. I appreciate you!
Way better than the tops modern gladius. The handle is too small on the gladius. It’s hard to grip and hold the way you do with this knife. The way fairbairn held is knife is uncomfortable with the tops modern gladius. I bought two modern gladius blades as I like collecting a brand new back up blade but I wish I passed and got this blade.
Very gimmicky Is it aadjustable? Is it heave? Will it pass an X-Ray screen. If you carry a walking stick, you use it for walking. Why the game camp case?
It is quite gimmicky. It would not pass an x-ray screening. It is heavy. It is adjustable by removing some of the tubes or adding more tubes. This walking stick is made to look cool and sell. No actual hiker or daily pedestrian would want to use it. The knives and tools It contains could come in handy if a person became lost and had no other tools, but the quality of the tools contained in this walking stick leave much to be desired. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend!
Thus is awsom. Ive just started to make my own tactical walking canes. I have a saw, knife and compass attatched to my sturdy stick
That's awesome! I love making my own stuff too! You should make a video showing off your projects. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend!
@@AOATSURVIVAL theirs no better feeling than being able to make something that's useful or artistic. Maybe one day I'll do some videos on youtube but Ive a long way to go yet. Great vid on the stick by the way. Tried to find it on Amazon but it's a watered down version in the UK, no knives and saws, so I'll keep making my own. Thanks for reply buddy, great to know theirs real folk out their
I used to have a walking stick until I left it in the back of my truck, and it ended up drying out and splitting
Nothing worse than a dry stick brother!
I just came here to talk mad sht on the commercial I just watched saying the us government might ban it soon so buy it now. Bruh, we can’t outlaw guns, how do you think we’re going to outlaw a fkn hiking stick. Dumbest commercial ever.
Hello my friend! I have not seen said commercial, but if I do I will also talk mad shit! Outlaw a walking stick with a knife? What if you are on a hike with a stick, and a pocket knife? Is it OK as long as they are separate? What if you just carry a baseball bat and a kitchen knife? That's still legal, I think. Thank for the shit talk! I truly appreciate it!
@@AOATSURVIVAL it was a UA-cam commercial with a QR code. It was their opening statement before you found out what it actually was. Truly got my attention and then enraged me.

Hell right brother, gotta get to the woods somehow!
Got the same knife , went and wrapped the handle with bank line ,threw out the survival packet and replaced it with strike anywhere matches , got rid of the steel wire rings and replaced with a rubber washer , if you do that the compass is not to bad ! Replaced the horrible vinyl sheath with a cheap leather leather one ! Fun to customize and make it more severable ! I don't know about that saw back though ! ♈⚓⚓♈
Hey Russell! Thanks for the shout out! As a boy I tricked mine out as well. Ended up painting one a custom came. Made a spear with it, fished with the fishing kit. Broke the wire saw... then built a new kit to put inside it. Never did get very sharp though! Lol thanks again my friend!
How do you think to feel about that in California? I need you cause I have a hipp placement
Never get that on a commercial flight.
seems cheap compared to prime adventure walking stick.
tactical gimmick,, hey I got a tactical toothpick...
I didn’t get 5 extension 😢😢
Well shoot fuzzy girl! I hate that for you! I ordered extras for mine, but it should say how many you get when you order it. If you didn't get the right amount you can request a refund!
Wonder if these are made in the US?
Yes Sir! They are made in Olean, New York.
@@AOATSURVIVAL Thank you.
When I wear my Helen of Troy hairnet to a local Walmart, nobody says anything when they see my bazooka...
I hard that Brotha!
So, in March I plan on hiking from Indiana to Arizona or maybe California. I will be 44 years old. Not in the best shape of my life. Have thyroid and hypertension problems. I am scared of what might happen. It's possible that I will die but I am okay with that. I've made my peace. My question is with the hammer on it if a mountain lion or bear were to come at me and if I was lucky enough to land the hit. Now I'm a strong individual but if I swung it with all I had, could I at least discourage the animal from attacking?
Yes. It is heavy and will be a lot to carry on an extended hike, but if you hit something with this walking stick, it will be discouraged. Might I suggest a bowie knife? Bear spray can be helpful, but a stick will hurt an animal or miss it off. A good bowie knife will pierce thick hide and drive in to the bone. Good luck, my friend. I hope this helps.
@@AOATSURVIVAL I'm definitely gonna have a knife and possibly spray. I won't carry a gun though. Funny thing is the wild animals don't worry me too much, it's the people that I worry about
aahha so many memories! I've had them too, never one done well! Now that I'm a cutler, I felt like reforging an identical but well-made one, but you could do me a great favor if you could tell me the name of the specific model, because it has nothing like Rambo's! aahahaha completely different model! and all the manufacturers and retailers insist on calling it a rambo knife😡🤷🤦 But what name does that specific model really have??? I even wrote you an email in case you didn't read this comment right away! I'm forging the same knife and then I would like to engrave the name of its real model on the blade!
Hello my friend! I do check my UA-cam comments as often as I can, and I am glad I caught yours! I did not receive an email from you, but you can send one to aoat124@gmail.com if you would like to discuss any of this further... Now, down to business! This model has no specific name. It 0:03 is simply marked on the box as "STOCK NO. 463 Survival Knife. Made in Tawain" I just happen to be a collector of these knives, and I have a number of them from different manufacturers. The one that started it all was the Randall model 18 which the Jimmy Lile Rambo knives were patterned after. There were other predecessors as well. Randall and Garcia both made them during the Vietnam Era. These cheap ones followed Liles Rambo knives and stemmed from a company called Knifeco. I have a model from Stansport as well. All either Taiwan or China in manufacture. A Russian variant is the "Survivalist" from Kyzlyar Supreme, and I have a hollow handle from Kershaw as well as the full Rambo collection from all of the movies. The best I could tell you is that the old original Knifeco from the 80s called their knives the "Survivor" but they did not stamp this on the blade. The blade etchings with survivor came later in the 90s with Maxim and Master cutlery etching it on their blades. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@AOATSURVIVAL Ahh understood! I assumed it didn't have a specific name! I'm actually trying to trace it back to the very first manufacturer who designed it by copying it badly from the original JIMMI LILE one! which is actually a different model! but unfortunately the superficiality and approximation of common people is scandalous! just because it has a hacksaw on the back they still call it a rambo knife! 🤷🤦. now I will do some further research thanks to the precious information you provided me! Soon!
