Ehhhhhhhh, the Georgian tourism board markets the heck out of this place as a "must see", but looking at it now, I see nothing about it that warrants a special trip. It's literally just a few old walls and buildings. You can get that in Tblisi. Maybe if you like wine, it's worth visiting.

I was gonna say, you guys have one in Iran too. And if I'm mistaken, it still has people living in it. Iran is also a very interesting country and well positioned. We have some in the U.S. too, but I think Cappadocia has the largest ones. You showed some areas of this one I've never seen online before. The rocks at 7:33 look like Indian grinding rocks that we have in the U.S. The largest and most famous one in Georgia is Vardzia. I think I will look at your Iran videos after I'm finished with the Georgia ones.

I was looking at a multi-day tour and they only let you pick either the canyon or the cave, so this video was really helpful. It's the only one I've seen that showed the whole entry procedure and it gave me a sense of what the place is like. Do you have to go with a guide, or can you just rent a boat and explore on your own?
