I am trying to understand the question. Are you saying the TPMS light is on now? If a tire is low it can affect a smog test. It is best to have it repair prior a smog test. If it is a true module malfunction and not a low tire, this should not affect a smog test. BAR is looking to add a safety check in the near future that can cause a failure. @@myautomotiveworldyoucanfixcars My car is a Honda Odyssey 2007. Every drive is OK except the TPMS warning light, I think the module is malfunctioning. I tried to fix the module at the dealers, but they could not fix it. thank you

I am assuming this is a California registered vehicle. You have the OBDII smog test for the year of car you are inquiring about. The TPMS light does not affect the test. No, a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light does not affect the California smog test; the smog test only evaluates a vehicle's emissions, not its tire pressure, so a TPMS light on will not cause a failure on the smog check.

Let me see what material I have ad get back to you. I think I am going to go ahead and retake the test and see how it has changed.
