ON A ROAD TRIP WITH MARINES! #TeamMLG
Marine, You need to make friends with Alice. Bring her a lump of sugar or an apple. She sure was surly with you.
The best horses/working animal's arent the ones who are the easiest or most docile and passive. The best are like the tale of pegasus. The greatest horses to ride as your companion is the one who will test you and you test them. You both test each other until a mutual agreement is met and you both connect on a level of understanding that you go where they go and they go where you go and together you'll both become one. The worst horses or animals to work with are the ones everyone says are great because they're easy. Ive always seeked the troublesome or most energetic animals to work with rather than the most passive and easy to work with.
You don't break or train a mule, you win them over. Apple's, carrots, and just spend time with her when you are not wanting anything from her.
If Alice was truly mean you would have been carried out on a stretcher the first time you walked up behind her on the right side. That mule is smart and just wants her due. Since that mule has to deal with different people on each course you just need to come to an understanding. I find a couple of peppermints goes a long way during that first meet and greet.
Dang! That's one beautiful,(and smart,) mule!
I've watched this so many times! It's great! That mule has her number from the minute she approaches her!!
CPL. Moore you start your video off with disinformation. This is absolutely not the First time Marines have been to MOTSU. Marines have been on and off of MOTSU since VIETNAM for multiple operations.
my first time seeing mule vid up close with Jockey for comparison.... even compared to wild horses they are HUGE no wonder they are favoured for equipping heavy loads
"She's being really good today." And Alice took that personally.
Didn’t appear to me that she’s “mean.” She is, however, testing to see if you know your stuff and are worth her respect.
Mules are way smarter than people..Alice is loving every minute of this😂
Lord, I would have joined the Marines to do this.
Ich finde es krass wie viele Leute das Gesicht von ihr nehmen und fake account machen
I have never seen a man with his hands in his pockets while in a barn, until this shitshow.
It was a shitshow.

HEY SISTER , WHEN THIS MULE IS KICKING LIKE THAT , YA HAVE TO BE REAL CAREFULL SHE DON,T KICK YA BY ACCIDENT , BE SAFE AND STAY AWESOME.... USN VET !!
😂 I don't understand why the Marine Corps or any us military branch would need these mules it's not the early 1900s
I like to tag you ❤
Alice dont work with laddinouz n smolhatz cuz shez the last merican around there! Hold tight Alice!
That's one big mule. I'm thinking her horse daddy was a draft horse. Never seen a mule that big.
Most people think it was the horse help setting this country. Nope, it's the mule They won't eat, drink, or work, then selves to death . Their very intelligent for the most part as well
I wouldn't say she's mean. I would say she's ornery. And that seems to be the Hallmark of mules.
I called the Center last winter, snow storm dumped! I asked the Capt. who answered the duty phone if she wanted us retired fan club members to start digging from our end?!!
Awesome video! What rank is Alice? I could have used a mule a few times humping them hills in Pendleton when I was in 3/5.
She a military 10
I love them
This lady would be better off with a donkey. It's just too big & tall for her.
Haha I didn't know they had mules still love it
Had no idea this was even a thing in the Marines might've gotten me to stay in.
Who shoes/trims your mules here? does a marine do it?
Waste of taxpayer dollars.
It really doesn’t matter to me whether she’s mean or ornery or just smart, I don’t have time for that kind of foolishness and neither should the Marine Corps. There’s plenty of other mules.
Why the ridiculous music. Just show the video
How did a donkey mounted on a Draft horse, that is what i want to know
Now Go ride Her!!
I have a sweet little mule but she doesn’t like her back feet being trimmed but Alice is a big stinker.LMAO
The reason Marines are a department in the Navy, and not the Army, is because the Army got first pick and they picked Mules.
As stubborn as a mule 😄😄😄😄
Stop mueling around!
Significant training for both parties is required.
Alice needs a chiropractor, ya can tell how stiff she is from the poll to the tail dock.
Looks like she's fed up with your b.s.
You have to slide your hand down their leg to pick up their feet
That was kind a painful to watch 😅😂. You can see that she has almost no Experience with Horses 😂
Oml. I could NEVER be a marine. I wouldn’t survive the workouts, and if I did I’d be dead at the end of them. Climbing up ropes and ‘swimming’ in ice cold water does seem pretty fun tho! Mind you, my ideas on fun, most definitely ARENT fun for others. (Example, catching lizards, picking up/petting ANY lizard I get the chance to. I once saw a bearded dragon at Home Depot. That was the best encounter I’ve ever had at a store.) I’ve got an emotional support beardie, if I decided I wanted to be a marine, would they let him come with me? STRIP THEM NAKED??? That must be embarrassing!
Holy sh¡t. MULES ARE HUGE. I had no idea!
this is a draft mule, most mules are smaller than the average horse.
I would love to see more mule and horse videos 😂❤
Alice figures she is high horse.
Alice is so pretty
She’s not mean you just don’t know how to handle her or correct her. When an equine kicks with the hind legs while you’re picking out her hooves.. you just hold the leg upwards
