Oh my gosh, I had the AR system too when I went to school on the West coast. It for sure motivated me to have a higher reading level and start reading thick books in 4th grade lol.
Chaol is the worst and never truly accepted Calaena for who she was and made a HUGE decision about her life without consulting her!!!!
