Great job buddy.
Hi, i have a 2013 X5 Xdrive 35i E70 N55 but the coolant temperature sensor is not in the lower radiator hose i try hard looking at many videos i could fine the locatoin on my. Can you help me please.
That is the coolant temperature sensor to regulate the pusher electric fan. The coolant temperature sensor for the engine temperature gauge is located on the cylinder head beneath the intake manifold runner to cylinder 6
In how many minutes?
@@eastsideofthetracks8311 how do you do that
Hello. Please I really need the color of the two wires that go to the sensor, I cut the connector now the color of the wires is spoiled, can you help me send me some pictures of the connector to see what the color of the two wires? So that I can connect it in the same way.
What was the error code?
Good video!
what song does it play by luke slater?
Is there any way I can buy this?
Where can I buy? But like another version
my coolant cap is extremely stiff, how can i opened it without breaking something?
Thank you so much for sharing I really appreciate you it helped me in so many ways
On 2007 X3 si it has 3 sensors , one for fans , one for gauges , and one for fluid level , I say just switch all 3 if your gauges seems to be reading wrong, because fans and electric water pump use the values given from the sensors inputs to activate water / air flow.
Nice vid, but that not the temp sensor that normally goes bad. You show sensor#2, but the normally bad one (#1), is under the intake manifold.
So it takes *2 minutes* to drain out the coolant...!! ..and it takes *1 min* to replace the temperature sensor 😁 Takes *2 min and 36* sec to watch this video, great vid btw
Mine doesn’t have the connector connected to the sensor do Yk why this is I have a 2008 Bmw 328i
That's one of the cleanest BMW engine bays I've ever seen.
seriously..mines is nothing like that lol
My coolant temperature sensor was replaced and the dashboard is lighting up with coolant temperature sensor is bad. Any suggestions? The car isnt running rough or overheating, no black smoke.
There's another one under the intake manifold you might have to change that one out
You have to be much faster.. :) prepare new sensor near the hole.. Drop the old one and put the New one fast. You will not loose a coolant so much.
2 minute to lose all your coolant 😅
What model of BMW is this on??
99-05 Bmw E46 all stock look like this. Most 3series. I got a 325i that looks juss like this
That's considered the fan switch in the lower radiator hose. ECT (Engine coolant temperature) sensor is between the firewall and engine block.
I beg to differ AutoZone just gave me that exact part and it's a radiator temperature sensor
Depends on the engine. I have the M57 and it's on the side of the engine block under the intake manifold. On some models it's on the lower radiator hose. Some have it on the front of the block.
Just replaced the exact part last Saturday on my 2004 BMW 525i with the M54 engine. The engine was cold and I did not lose any coolant.
this is a sensor not a switch. If you hook up a scan tool, this sensor reads the Coolant Temperature - Radiator Outlet value. The engine block sensor reads the Coolant Temperature - Engine. Two different sensors.
This guy spilled he's whole coolant and he's like that's it lol
This guy saved all that coolant in a bucket. You could hear it, but you only got the eyes to see what’s wrong when people do things.
@@naseembaluch4244 when you lose coolant like that you have to bleed the air from system that’s why it’s funny lol . If not you will most likely over heat because there’s air
@@eastsideofthetracks8311what if you open your coolant to check levels ?
@@LightSpinAngler open it when’s it’s cold ONLY
@@eastsideofthetracks8311 I left my hood open for an hour or so and it depressurized a bit but looks like I am holding coolant which was my only concern.
Yo tengo una como desde hace 10 años jaja
Make sure to bleed the coolant system afterwards!
