The Journey For GIANT Trout
Searching for the biggest fish of my life.
Last month I started the Hunt for 24. A series where I search for a 24 inch or bigger trout. This will all be done using fly fishing tackle, and take place in the American west. On this episode, I find myself at a small stream where I know giant fish hide. To my surprise I end up catching something I wasn't expecting at all.

Broken rod = Broken heart. To be sympathetic, and this is no fish story, I’ve broken a rod on my first outing in Jackson every year for the past five years. That’s right, every single year, first day on WY water, a new replacement rod broken. The name of the rod co. begins with an “O” and ends with an ”s.” After this year, I refuse to donate $99. for another replacement. Unreal!

What’s your tips for a new fly fisher? I’m 3.5 hours from there green and want to go
@@bjornlarson6777 I would say just practice malign casts and finding your casting tempo. The green is a huge river, and a difficult one. It’s always good to go with a guide who know the river inside and out, especially if it’s your first time on that river.
