Started way too late. U start as soon as the glow plugs light goes off. Read the manual

Did you hit the gas ? Why the engine reved up?

ive just put a new starter motor in mine and its starting much quicker than it did before nearly instant from cold and hot.

incorrect timing can be an indicator why some BKD's dont start very well from warm. my timing has reset an its running like clock work now. so much quicker starting when warm.

Why it writes "SERVICE" on the board computer?

Wow, my touran also starts easier, 2.0 tdi 140 hp. And my actual car the a6 4f 2,7 tdi also!

my fathers 2006 vw passat with 2.0 tdi starts easier then yours at -15C..

how DSG is working after 100.000km and chiptunning? did you have any problems?

Starts really nice. Was the problem about fuel quantity ? Do you know, they changed it ? Maybe it was, about injectors or something?
