Phonelink does the same for your phone. It's unbelievable how few people actually use Windows features while they are there, fully intergrated and ready to use lol. It does all the things you said apple does and MORE with any Android device you like. Mac is really made for the extreme stupid who don't understand a single thing. I've been working on a Macbook (forced at work) for a month now, it's a mess which spams you with 100 applications and closing apps doesn't even close it. You got to go to the damn icon and right click, then close it. And why do I need to drag the damn icon to the app folder if I want to install? I already went to the process, install the damn thing already. And don't even get me started on programming on it using xampp. It was more difficult to set it up then on freakin' Arch Linux.

The biggest draw in my opinion is the battery life and ecosystem. Otherwise, I think that Mac OS inferior to Linux and Windows outside of the software hardware optimizations. Both Linux and Windows just make logical sense in how they manage windows and files. Mac OS is just a hot mess...

Look, a lot of these complaints really feel silly. Why does it matter if you can see the speeds? All that matters is how long the transfer takes. Who has time to sit there and unironically think “omg I’m only transferring at 5Gb/s”. You start the transfer, move onto something else and when it says you’re done, you pick up where you left off. I do the same thing on windows. The transfer speed number itself is absolutely useless. Just tell me how long the transfer will take

an important rule of thumb when it comes to using a Mac is that they are a different animal to windows, it takes time to get a rythem down for using the system and finding out the interesting little quirks but if you get confused the best thing you can do is go into the settings and have a little look around and don't be afraid to change things its hard to break a Mac by just using it. 1 your issue with the dock control click on an icon ( or go into settings and you can enable right click) doing this you can see each instance of an app or window you have 2 there is a way to make the programs you minimise drop to the right of the dock in their own slot similar Into windows I personally don't like this but its a preference thing. once you get your head around the system you will fall in love with it although from what you said in the video I think you are at that point now

For icon view you can drag on the mouse or trackpad to highlight them all and also mac is big on keyboard shortcuts so CMD + A + click on the first icon and it will highlight all. If you only want to actually hightlight say 8 out of 10 icons keep holding down the cmd key and click on the icons you do not want highlighted it will unhighlight them and keep the rest highlighted. The dock icon under the dock shows that the application open even if you do not have an active window, it is left in memory so you do not have to reopen ( it is a carry over thought from HDD days when loading took so long, not necessary in SSD days but kept around for us old mac heads) So most mac apps the red icon closes the window not the app itself. You need use the menu bar of to scroll down to "quit" or use CMD Q to quit that closes the app, removes the dot, and frees up the background process and resources. I have the same apps I use daily with 3 "spaces" (thats the name of the of multiple desktops) I have my main viewing space being desktop 2 and for other resources desktop 1 and desktop 3 and these apps up on correct desktop by right clicking dock icon and selecting options and assigning them to each desktop and from now on they only appear and live in that desktop.

What is driving me crazy is that in whatsapp I can't zoom in photos with the mouse progressively. If I double click it will zoom in the area where the cursor is, but if I use the trackpad with gestures I can zoom in the way I want 🤣🤣🤣 I'm enjoying learning, so at least is not frustrating, but funny

I found it interesting that Windows 10 has gained market share in the past 2 years while Mac OS even with the M series chips has lost market share for the past 2 years. I'll stick to Windows. It's always a flip flop whoever has the most advanced hardware, and most users don't need the most advanced hardware anyway and it will no doubt flip back to Windows hardware shortly anyway. There is way more Windows software & hardware accessories available, and people are getting frustrated with Apple's closed system architecture, in ability to expand memory or drive space, and ridiculous pricing on memory or drive upgrades at purchase time. PC's will continue to be the dominate force in personal computers as far as most of us can see. I prefer the choice of having the most software I can run, most cost effective solution, and most expandable option. I also have no complaints with the general operations of Windows. As an IT specialist, I've never found Apple easier to operate. Checkout the UA-cam video "Most Popular Operating Systems (Desktop & Laptops) 1978 - 2023" to see who the real Winner is today and how Apple is falling behind in it's installed user base.
