    Hello. Thanks a lot. Do you think it s possible to make a clear acrylic color as transparent as Tamiya s paint? I d like to create a water blue green clear and apply it on metal with is as brillant as a mirror. The objective is to keep the mirror aspect even with the paint on. I hope my poor English is understandible ( I don't use the machin)

    I don’t often work with acrylic paint (usually with metals) but I recently wandered into this realm for a craft project. I’m clueless, so your tip is very helpful to me. Thanks! (BTW I wonder why you don’t have an affiliate link in the description for the Liquitex Glazing Medium. I would have purchased it thru you as a token of appreciation.)

    • @Thomas-jq2im
      @Thomas-jq2im Рік тому

      Liquitex high gloss varnish is a pretty decent clear coat if you do it properly. Minimum of 4 coats for a glass like finish.

      Simplest way to do that would be to use an airbrush, if you have one available.

      Why not use the plastic from a sprite bottle, it's already green and clear.

    I like your rendition of a Pallet; very realistic. (The bottom in particular.) The sides and middle supports should be twice as thick as this to support heavier loads, like the irl example. Assembling freehand would allow for less-than-squareness which is perfect for the model world. Leave a few slats off, or damage them and it'll be perfectly accurate and faithful too. Slow setting CA glue would be great if one is concerned about hot melt glue burns. Great weathering too.
