Nick - Farewell ride - For Dad - Part 2
Hey, nice meeting you guys today.
You too! We subscribed!
What is up meh ghys 😂 🤘
Hey BABY.
I see you are on a yzwr , you look smooth on it. Do you notice the weight ? I haven’t rode heels in a lot of years, going to have to get back up there soon. Good video. Is that a gps that you are using ? Dose it show the actual trail on it , and what model is it ? Some trails can get confusing, and it would be nice to have one .
I do not notice the weight unless I'm riding slow! The WR is at its best when you ride it with intention. When you are being spirited the bike feels like a cloud! Geels is in great shape despite its popularity, its definitely worth a trip. That is a Garmin Zumo XT Moto GPS with VVMAPPING installed on it. It does show the exact trail as well as all other trails. Without VV mapping it is useless, google "VVMapping". HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Michigan looks like a good state to ride dirt bike and sxs :) a lot of track there
Over 13,000 miles of trails!
be carefully man
Always!
i like ur vd
Thank you!
what a nice place to ride !!!!
It really is!
I had a 1997 klx 300 with stroker mods , I loved that bike, thanks for the vid !
You're very welcome, thanks....stroker mods? That thing probably was a demon.
Can’t wait to pick one up soon! I’m shooting for mid October hoping to find a left over 2024 model! Looks like a solid trail bike
Probably the best trail bike out there! For the price. It does it all and it does it well.
wish i bought the 300RRR over the 300
It is a great trail bike! I owned it initially and sold it to Robert. The regular 300 does have much more versatility!
@@nicholaslendzian9574 it does, but you don’t have that secondary throttle plate. You could always just put on a light put on a little tail tidy and call it a day and the thing is a S
I know you always can remove the secondary title plate but it’s nice to not have to remove it and I feel like there’s so much extra on a on my 300 looking back. I should’ve just bought the dirtbike version.
The tingling hands lost me
This guy up front is a tool
:)
40° weather while riding gives us a right to say it can get cold my guy. Funny I just saw this main comment. Farthest from a tool but damn well knows how to use them. the "fat guy" is the one making the channel😂
I had this on for 1 minute, and he is whining about being cold and hot. And tell him this is my bike, I know it gets hot, there are many like it but this one is mine. Take that fatguy out please
Thank you. We will continue our videos mainly in honor of him but for you all as well❤
I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing.
Just subbed. 👍 I’ve watched a number of your videos and like how you put full length rides and not all cut up. It helps me see how a trail truly is before my family goes and ride. Good stuff. 👍 Sorry for your loss. 😞
Appreciate the kind words pal! Yes, we try to put the videos up from start to finish!
Where is this trail? #teamgreen
This is Rose City MCCCT (Michigan cross country cycle trail) + Luzerne MCCCT. Rose city/Luzerne Michigan.
Riding with Dorian is like waiting for a wheel chair to catch-up always waiting and waiting
Lmaooooo
Sorry I don't mean to be mean.. But .we need to call it. We have our strengths and our weaknesses. I have been at both. Witch you can see in the past video... I am not a great rider. Just average to others. Nothing special about me.
Thanks for the positive words! We call Nick trail dad, and robert is bucking bob lol. I'll keep riding the ttr until I get the extra funds for a slight upgrade. Again thanks for the nice comment😁 the 15th (my birthday) is our next ride
Hey guys, fellow Michigan trail rider here...west side of the state. I've been lurking your channel for a long time....I grew up on these trails! Watching Nick ride is a treat, he has a lot of self control and seems very disciplined while maintaining a lot of composure and speed at all times!....well almost all times. He really seems to look out for the group! He is what we call a great pilot rider! I see why you guys trust him to lead the group a majority of the time! Always nice to have a rider with GPS too. Robert was soaring in the last few videos. Very entertaining to watch him wiggle around in the sand....hes all over the trail and manages to not crash, impressive! , Heather is the one of if not the fastest girl woods rider I've ever seen! And on a base level bike keep it up! Love the 3 musketeers keep up the great work and raw content. I for one like the lack of editing and straight forward uploads. Looking forward to seeing the trio out on the trails for the next set of videos! I subscribed as well! Stay safe, especially you Robert!
Hey fella, on behalf of everyone we appreciate the kind words!
Yep there was a section I forgot to hit play
Thats okay, me and Heather both got that section.
It felt soooooo good
Orgasmic?
I guess I was pissed off and unchained
We like unchained Robert.
Insane hitting the whoops
Absolutely, watching the KLX get thrown around by a real man.
Nick your dad should like this video. Very fast
We will be watching it tonight!
The hill climb from hell
That hill climb was easy. Get some tires. ha ha ha.
Fun ride
The most.
This was a fun ride
Yessir it was.
Just a fun rip...
A fun long rip.
It wasn't the most difficult ride. But it was nice to just let rip.
We made it difficult. Almost blew up heathers ttr230.
I do love sand riding too
You like floating around like you're on a snowboard. lmao.
That hill climb was pretty damn gnarly
That hill climb was easy. SMH.
Thanks I feel like I've gotten so much better and thats why I was saying yes, I do need an upgrade
You have improved, we all have!
You need a moto up grade
YZ250? hahahah.
You are pushing that yamaha tt230 to the limits
Her poor clutch was smoking by the end.
Chosing lines better riding faster
Did somebody say lines?
Heather your riding so much better. Better than most guys i know
Heather is a freak of nature.
This fucking hill climb
I like that hill climb, I would like to session it. Just go up and down over and over again until I fail.
18 mins In I met a tree😅
Damn right you did. haha.
fire video i wish i could ride in groups like that
Come out and ride
We will be going up this weekend
We will be going up this weekend weather permitting
Saddle up and lets go.
Always down to meet new people! Let's ride
Good brother and like I this yiu make
Thank you, appreciate the kind words.
What are you using for GPS?
That would be the GARMIN ZUMO XT it is made specifically for motorcycle/offroad use. Price is around $400 to $600 depending on where you purchase it from. - I'm using VV Mapping to overwrite the stock ORV/Trail maps (VV Mapping is incredible, not available in all states just yet....however they do specialize in Michigan/Wisconsin). Specifically VV mapping provides me real time access to ALL trails making rides incredible. I can go where I want and for as long as I want and not get lost!
@@nicholaslendzian9574 I'll probably make the same investment. I ride solo most of the time. Taking a day off on a weekday is amazing. The trails are almost empty. You can cover a lot of ground. I just wish there were more places to get gas
sick vid🔥
Thanks man, appreciate the comment! Glad you enjoyed.
Good to know! Thank you 👍
No problem 👍
Nice bike👍are you riding right of the the dealership floor or did you modify it in anyway.
It is a DOG right off the showroom floor, the wr250F Needs to be UNRESTRICTED for it to ride properly! Silencer removed from the exhaust (Very easy), removal of the air baffle (Very easy), and shaving down the throttle restriction screw (Very easy, you can chop the restricted portion of the screw off with tin snips lol). The MFG puts these in place to pass EPA Standards and restrictions, but they also make it VERY easy to UNRESTRICT the bike so that it rides as it is supposed to! The wr250F is actually a very perky bike! Im 240 pounds and it scoots me around like im not even on the bike. Very impressive ride!
10k 8k 6k 5k 4k and all do the same thing haha
Haha, pretty much, its how I have to render the videos out as youtube heavily compresses the video straight out the gate. I found this method to provide a solid 1080P experience for my viewers! I hope its okay for you!
@@nicholaslendzian9574 haha I was talking about the price levels of the bikes :)
Bouncing up over every bump suggests maybe more fork compression-damping than needed? ... rather than back off the fork compression damping and let the fork travel absorb those bumps? Having heard that that suspension is progressive, getting stiffer deeper into the travel, I'd try as little compression damping as needed to prevent bottoming out ... which is unlikely if you're not jumping it. Rebound damping? ... only enough to keep the tires connected to the ground ... to keep the rear from getting squirrely.
I took your comment into consideration for our latest video and ride and you are absolutely correct! It helped a TON to soften up the suspension, thank you very much for your input!
@@nicholaslendzian9574 From considerable testing, I found that I could back out of the fork damping completely - compression & rebound. ` same with rear compression damping. However, with rear REBOUND damping less than - 34 or -35 lessened directional stability i.e. the caboose wouldn''t track with the front ... making things squirelly. I found it essential, especially on the front tire, to lower the pressure enough to just start using the shoulder (not side) knobs, rather than just the center knobs; this meant 13 - 14 psi cold. Getting some shoulder knob support greatly helped directional stability, too. Lastly, I dropped the forks 5 mm to be flush in the triple clamp. This maximized wheelbase and directional stability; the decrease in turn-in ease was negligible ... and worth any slight turning effort. I suspect that this twitchy turn-in quickness was for slow, single-track turning. That said, I find the knobby tires to be squirelly in all but shallow dirt. They are not relaxing (to me) on hard-packed dirt or pavement. I'm going to try more moderate tires e.g. the Pirelli MT21 front & Dunlop D606 rear, recommended to "Itchy Boots" (now, her favorite tire combination).
I think she farts alot
Definitely
where is this?
Rose city, mio, west branch, luzerne, all in the northern part of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Beautiful place!
You folks need some pipes!
I've considered it, especially to let others know that we are coming! I do appreciate the soft noise but pipes sure would wake the bikes up a bit!
