Hiii,
long time no see, huh?
I guess regular upload schedule won't be exactly my thing, but I feel like I will produce more content during autumn and winter again. It's the more creative part of the year for me:)
By the way the snake in the video is my very first animation ever! And I made with a drawing tablet - tool I have never used before. I know it's nothing special, but it made me happy.
Have fun watching the video and have a great day!

Hi! So finally we had some snowy winter time to enjoy! If you wear similar pair of boots, you probably also experienced having a lot of snow falling in and you ended up with wet feet. Worry not, the mighty Gaiters are here to save us from this experience!:D And they don't even need to look like the ugly wrinkly sport kind you find in the stores:) My shop and social media: My Etsy shop - www.ets...

Sewing a copy of my favourite top/cardigan

Hi! I know it's been forever since the last video, but I simply did not have time:) The past week I've been working on this project and it¨s finally ready. I have bought the original cardigan about 2,5 years ago when I basically replaced my pants with skirts. The fit is great (apart from the short sleeves - oh well, tall girl's problems), but over time my style has changed a bit and the bright ...

Hello, Finally the Christmas is here! Well, almost... There's still plenty of time to bake and prepare for the Day. I'm sharing this gingerbread recipe. This batch is enough for a smaller house and plenty of gingerbread, so maybe try just...
How to make an easy circle skirt (with pockets!)

Hi! So, here's another 'tutorial'. An easy project to try. Even easier if you skip the pockets but honestly who would choose that..:D The quality of the footage is not great, because it was actually the first project that is fully taken with my new camera and I still couldn't figure out the good settings. Plus the weather and light was changing constantly, which did not make it easier. Anyway, ...

This time we have here just a very short video with no comentary, because it wasn't really needed. It didn't look so bad as I was editing, but once rendered, it turned out pretty bad And I would probably spend hours on replacing the clips and fixing it, because VideoPad, the program I'm using doesn't like fixes:D Ser...

Hi! My sewing video is not ready yet (but it's almost there), so this week i made video from our weekend trip to the Open Air museum near Arnhem. It's totally worth visiting, but needs some extra planning nowadays because of the Covid-19. We went on Sunday and it was ridiculously busy, even though it might not look like that from the pictures. I recommend checking Google for the less busy days....

Very nice work.
Can’t wait to try these for Christmas this year thanks for sharing your recipe!! 🫶🏻
Beautiful! Nicely done. You are a good teacher
I believe thier is a uv light your suppose to use with uv resin it looked like you had one but you called it a torch so I'm not sure. To touch up your pieces could you mix a small batch of the same resin you used to make these and just use a small flat silicone brush to fix them?
Excellent work…many thanks🤗
Where did you get those types of molds??
Try curing the UV resin in bright sunlight. It works great..
This is brilliant.
I see you talk to your sewing machine as well. I’m not alone!!
And now, Let’s Resin has colored UV resins available! Woo Hoo!! I have problems with UV resin, and working with it.
love your work. I did try some time ago to put dry leafs in resin epoxy but in a matter of weeks they got full yellow. Is there a way to prevent that?
I make this similar gem with inside insect ad small leaf with Natural tree resin of pine not epoxy resin
Mooi
Mooie beelden
Thanks for this wonderful video!!
Will the green colour of the moss completely fade away over time?
Those are really beautiful! I have one question. Do the green materials (moss, leaf) change their own color after some periods? If the green color is preserved forever (or long period), then it would be best!
It depends how UV resistant your resin is and also how you store the items (if they are frequently in direct sun, they will change colour faster). You can either buy resin with UV resistant additive in it or you can get them apart. But from my experience, some plants stay kinda the same and some change. I even had moss that I picked all in 1 day and for some reason some of them were more colour stable than others. You can never be 100% sure, unless you dyed the plants with some artificial colour.
Where do you buy the molds?

Beautiful 👌👍💕
Hi, love your videos.. really cool ideas. I've used lots of UV resin and it can be sticky after curing... I seen this tip on UA-cam... place item in some water just enough to cover item , place it under UV lamp again for a few minutes , it helps with the stickyness Hope it helps
Not sure how goo gone would react to resin but you could give it a try on a spare piece of epoxy with a sticky layer. Hopefully it removes the sticky feeling and not the resin.
#Well done... Really lovely. Worth watching 😊👍
So pretty!!, perfect for twirling 😊
that smaller moss pendant looks gorgeous!
keep my sub sweetheart!
this is super cool
Can we use fresh moss with epoxy?
Hi! Fresh plants in general are bad idea for using in resin. Resin doesn't like water when curing and also fresh plants will rot or significantly change colour when encased in resin. Drying is the best way to go with moss or or other plants.
I like them all, thank you for sharing 😊
Beautiful work u have here 💕..... quick question, how do u dry the plants?
Thank you and sorry for the late reply! Depends what plant and what I'm planning to do with it. Some plants, especially flowers or leaves with more intricate shapes are better flat. For these I use the classic technique - a flower sandwiched between papers, inserted inside a book and put some weight on top and leave it in for couple of weeks. I've got a dedicated flower press lately, but haven't tried that yet. For moss, mushroom and some other plants I like more in 3D shape I use an air tight container with silica gel or pearls for dehumidifier on the bottom, then paper napkin and then layer of the plants/mushroom. They can't be tangled together because some get very brittle as they dry and then it's impossible to untangle them without causing damage. I hope it's helpful!:)
@@fretka007 thanks dear ....i wish i can see a video of how the mushroom/plant is been dried .....thanks🙏🏻....this was helpful tho
Ficou lindo, amei ❤️
with pendants, I find placing in a pie pan with dish soap & water, helps remove them.
Hi, do you mean the pendant in the tube mold? I haven't tried that yet! I tried to inject some water in the mold, but it did not really make it much easier to get the pendant out and I couldn't re-use the mold right away, because it was wet.:(
Uh who the hell downvotes this :/ Beautiful work!
Thank you! Well, it's no masterpiece, it's ok to dislike. Or their batch of resin stuff went wrong and they're MAD!:D
Thank you so much for this video 🙏❤️
Beautiful 😍
realy nice vvideo! i tryed to make one myselfdd but when i was sturring the things inside the epoxy around, there was to much air comming into the epoxy. this made for a verry bubbely piece of work. do u know anything that might help?
Hi, thanks for commenting:) I usually leave the mixed resin stand for about 5 minutes to allow the bubble to rise and pop by themselves. Sometimes I smack the cup on the desk to make them rise faster. After few minutes there's minimum of bubbles and only then I'll start pouring it in molds. If I see some big bubble inside a mold, I try to squeeze it out or again hit the mold on the desk, so the bubble comes to the surface where I can pop them with lighter. If you work with dried plants or mushroom, sometimes it's better to soak them in resin before you arrange it in the mold, because some are too porous and will release bubbles of air. And lastly, the pressure pot is just great thing to have clear casts. I think I'm going to make later some more detailed video on how to avoid some mishaps in resin casting.:)
Thank you for sharing how you do everything! They’re beautiful!!
Thank you!
Sticky uv resin is because your uv torch is not powerful enough, uv resin NEEDS a HIGH UV Light to cure it properly. Great vid and resin pieces. Thanks 🙏🏻
Yes, I thought too, but this torch should be stronger that the cheaper UV lights I see people use for the nails. I guess I need to invest later in something better. For now I figured out that the sticky layer cures over time if I leave it on a windowsill for about a week (I live in a cloudy country). Thank you for commenting!:)
if sticky place in sun light...for a few minutes, it takes care of the stickiness
@@fretka007 hey love amazing video and pieces, no need to invest in better light, just use your uv torch in a dark area.... not under a different kind of light, again amazing pieces and thank you for showing how you dry out your stuff.
@Rachael Wood Hi! I should make an update video. It was the resin. I got different one and that one hardens fine. I also got a proper UV lamp and the older UV resin stays sticky forever even there while the new one needs 10-15 minutes curing to harden and dry.
Buongiorno, per quanto lascia a seccare le erbe?
Hi, sorry, I don't speak Italian, so I'll at least answer in English. I let them dry usually 2 or more weeks. Some plants are juicier and need a bit longer. The best is to try and observe. Good luck! :)
This is such a sweeet video!! Thank you so much! Please, please make more!
You're too kind! Thank you. 😊 I'm planning to do more Christmas baking videos this year!
@@fretka007 This is so fantastic! My ancestors fled from the Czech republic in 1938 before WWII and this gives me and my children an opportunity to reconnect with our cultural heritage in the language we can understand. It gives us so much joy.
That's an awesome story! I'm very happy to be a part of it, this really made my day.😊 Also I've got an idea. Do you perhaps have some Czech dish you or your family members remember from childhood but the recipe is lost to you? Maybe if you describe it to me, I could help to find it and make a video about it. Let me know if you'd be interested. Otherwise I'll just do more of our family recipes again.😊
@@fretka007 Dear Jarka, My grandmother always used to make wonderful dumplings called ‘knedliky”. I know in the Czech Republic they are very common and used almost like bread. But outside the Czech Republic it is absolutely impossible to buy them or even to find them in a restaurant. We all miss them very much since my grandmother died. I have tried several times to cook them myself, using recipes from the Internet, but I am doing something completely wrong. My dumplings were soggy or rubbery but never so fluffy. I think we are doing something fundamentally wrong in the process of technically making them and perhaps not so much in the ingredients themselves? Perhaps we fundamentally make mistakes in the dough kneading or in the cooking process? Perhaps, if you have time, you can make for us newbies a step-by-step explanation, so that we see where we make the mistakes? And if I may be so bold to ask for another little project (perhaps for later), I remember two additional dishes my grandmother made and I very much miss. One was called Liwanetshky and the other ovocni knedliky. I remember that they were both sweet dishes and especially we as kids loved them so much. I tried the fruit dumplings once, but again I had so very big problems, that they were soggy and rubbery in the end. Perhaps we need some special cooking equipment for those dishes? Or we simply make mistakes in the cooking process with the water temperature and the duration? Me and my family would be so happy to enjoy and being able to cook for ourselves a piece of our heritage :-) I thank you so much for your consideration and your effort. I really love your channel and your very high skill set in all the different things you do. I watched the video of the castle you made for your little hamster and I absolutely loved it, it was such a delicate and precise work. The flowers were little masterpieces.
Those are great suggestions! I think I can help with knedlíky and ovocné knedlíky, because I make them time from time. I will experiment a bit with ingredients, because the original ones are made with coarse wheat flour, which is not very common abroad. Were lívanečky fluffy little pancakes? By the way we can chat abotu it on Insta (@tinypocketgarden) or FB (Tiny Pocket Garden) if you'd like to!
nice! perhaps make a little nightlamp?
Nightlamp, hmm. I'll try to think of something:) Thanks for the idea!
