Carp is plural. Carp eat boiled because they are feed them as feed.
As we’re into grammar carp are fed not feed ,carp is the plural not carps ,carp are fed on fish meal pellets,not on boiled .tight lines Frodo .

The plural of CARP is CARP.
If they're the same species of carp, yeah. Otherwise referencing multiple species would be carps. It's the same as fish, fish, and fishes. You can have either one or an unlimited amount of channel catfish in a group and be correct calling them fish. If there's one species of literally anything else in the group you're referring to then it's fishes. Don't get me wrong, it sounds "off" and displeasing to the ear, but it is correct.
