Great video mate. I've been looking for some examples in scale to the human hand to help me figure out how far apart the lines should be. Sweet product too :)
Nicevideo im starting to learn about this things but im not 100% sure of how to use them properly, i tried to use them to make a character from a cartoon but i cant make the hinges fit properly in the curve, my file its in thingiverse(.)com/thing:29186, someone suggest me that i should shorten the hinges but i dont know how much, i dont know how to measure the lenght of the hinges to fit in the curve that i want them to fit. So you have any idea how to make the hinges fit in the curve? Thanks
It's been a while...but the provided link gets a 404 page not found error. Any chance it can be found elsewhere on the internet?
Link doesn't but thank you
The links are not working. :(
Very helpful! Thank you! Is there a place to get the free file? The link in the description doesn't work.
great video thanks. what is the thickness of the cut, what are the intervals between the following lines vertically and horizontally?
Says it can't find the page 8^(
I notice a formula on the top of the samples. H1/y=1.5, X =1. What is H1? What is Y? What is X?
Thanks Great video. I don't see the files on your link.

What's the durability like for something like this? If incorporated into a toy, could one of these living hinges stand up to any kind of rough play?
how deep the hinge is?

Is it possible to make a living hinge from metal?
those are called springs.
Hi! I like the idea , and would like to apply it in acrylic . Do you think that would work ?
Isabel Uh I've seen it work in acrylic, but I'd imagine it has to be on the thinner end.
I have to disagree. Floppy wood is not fun.
Get out of the snow snowdog and it wont be floppy;)

Do you need a laser cutter or could you also make this with a rotaty multitool? Will be a lot more work but less costly than a laser cutter.
How would you bind the paper in there if you wanted to make a book?
