We went out for a three day adventure in the northern slopes of the Uinta Mountains. I absolutely love catching Colorado River Cutthroats and thoroughly enjoyed this entire trip, wind and all. I have fished this river quite a few times over the last 2 years and was never able to catch anything on it. This day, I was determined to change that. This was our second spot for the day and it did not take long to hook into a monster of a brown trout! It was the only fish I caught that day and was one that I will definitely remember! After finally getting a new float tube and not sinking in my old one, we decided to head to a reservoir to try it out. I had never heard of this reservoir before. Apparently, there is the potential to catch some giant monsters, but we only caught smaller Rainbows. The turquoise color of the water was absolutely stunning though. Filmed early July

Skyler had visited this reservoir a few days before and absolutely slayed the Bluegill. He took me here so I could experience these absolute slabs. I broke my PB Bluegill pretty quickly. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to beat it again. Filmed late June

Skyler and I headed out of town for a night to fish a lake that we had been to before. We were fishing for a very specific species that neither of us caught, but we did see. We were happy catching the little cichlids for a different occasion. Filmed mid June

We were up in the area for the weekend and decided to stop at Strawberry for some fishing. I have personally never had a good day fishing here. I was never able to get it figured out. While this day wasn't the most productive, I did catch a few quality size fish, breaking my own personal best record for Cutthroat twice in one day. Filmed mid May

We decided to head to a neighborhood pond because we heard that they had Pumpkinseed's. We thought we were catching blue gills the whole time. Turns out, they were actually Pumpkinseed! Filmed mid April
