Found a roller 351w in the junk yard in a 96 bronco pulled the plugs and check the cylinders with a bore scope could still see cross hatches so I figured it would be a good budget build for my fox body I got the block and the crank for $200 I’m going stock crank forged rods and forged -18cc dish pistons with ported trick flow 170 heads and probably a custom cam haven’t decided yet and turbo

2018 f150 stock manifolds first one is stock cats with xpipe and 2 - 8 inch long resonators the second start up is stock manifolds with 200cel cats ,xpipe into a dual in dual out flow monster muffler with the built in xpipe and the 2- 8 inch long resonators both times were first thing in the morning cold starts and dumps at the rear end

Only mods are cold air intake and ported boss intake still factory manifolds and cats stock 3.55 gears super crew 2wd

What tune? any other mods and rear-end, 2wd or 4wd, and what size of cab?
Preaux tune shaved .5 off your previous tune's times
That was more than a tuner switch. Much higher shift points on the new tune as well.
@lil2.74 Shift points on the 10R80 make big difference I imagine
@Highlander1432 They do on all Yotes but even more with the 6R80. 10R80 already stays higher in the rpm range "after the shift". 10R80 trucks will drop no further down than 6000rpm if shifting at 7000. Most tunes are shifting much higher than 7000, like 7500. If you watch the tach on Boss Awesome and Louis Marquez, thier fastest tunes the needle pretty much stays on 7000 because they are operating above that most of the time. Whereas my 7000rpm shift falls all the way down to 5100. If I raise my shifts, I would be significantly faster. 6 speed trucks like 7700 shifts and would still fall below 6000, on some gears.
@Highlander1432 this is the main reason the 10 speeds are killing me on "mph". Even on passes with similar ets earlier in the run. That constant high rpm throughout the pass is running away from me on the big end. Narrow rpm range stays in the power for a much higher power average throughout the run.
@Highlander1432 I would have already raised my shift points but as you know this is a high mileage motor with an unknown history. I am not willing to go 7700 at the moment. I am actually not taking advantage of the Boss Intake, because I am keeping my rpm low.

@@heathbrown22 why not Lund? I had 5 star tune, went to Lund and they have access to the transmission that no one else has and man does she run amazing!
@@carlife_710honestly at the time I had a sct and preaux and mpt where the only 2 I found that could tune and it still be flex fuel but I’ve switched to a hp now from preaux but at least now I have the option to get tunes from different tuners
