It’s really great to hear what Vinyl Confessions would have sounded like if Steve Walsh hadn’t left. And I love hearing the songs that were never released. I was surprised by Robby’s voice on Caught in the Crossfire. Robby has always been a great Vocalist with plenty of range (Lightning’s Hand and many others stand out as examples. But his voice sounded flat in that song. Steve was an amazing vocalist in his prime, but John Elefante did a good job with Kansas and has done some great solo work. Chasing Shadows and Face It were welcome additions to the Vinyl Confessions album. And Play the Game Tonight was also very solid. I’m curious as to what would have been the release on this record. Some great songs certainly.

Deep Purple played at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on 12th, 13th & 14th December 1984 (Wed, Thu & Fri). So, George must have gone along on their first night (12th) and then gone back to play with them on the 13th. I saw Tina Turner there on the Saturday night (15th), which was fantastic. The Sydney Entertainment Centre was only a year old then. It was a great venue and over the years I went to some excellent concerts there. Sadly, it's long gone now, leaving no venue of that size in the CBD. Thanks for the clip. ❤

I don't know what I just watched. I've seen it before and rewatching hasn't made it any clearer. Number one: is that an unfired bullet? Are we to understand she or her husband absconded with evidence?

@@VincePalamaraJFK : So how many unaccounted for bullets are there? I recall Doug Weldon mentioning a bullet found imbedded in the floor board or something? SSA Kinney found a bullet, Landis found a bullet, someone mentioned a significant piece of slug next to JFK's right ear bone, a slug or piece of a slug embedded against the rear of his skull, bits of metal or mercury scattered about his cranium, this woman's bullet, the bullet impacting the chrome above the windshield, a bullet hitting the curb on Main and fragments hitting Tague, a bullet hitting the concrete around the manhole in the median, a .45 burrowing into the grass, someone claims there was a bullet strike to the stairs near the pergola, a bullet struck the street at the corner of Elm and Houston just before the shot hitting JFK in the throat through the windshield, a bullet in his back, a bullet into Connally's armpit, a shot into JFK's EOC, a shot into his temple and out his mastoid process/occipital, a bullet striking the sidewalk on the North side of Elm . . . Talk about a fusillade! What do you make of it all Vince. What do you give credence to? What's your bullet count?

A gem indeed! But one of a great many gems on your channels sir! Thanks to you and all the great JFK investigate researchers past & present, the battle for truth over evil has a chance to prevail. As far as I'm concerned, it's working. As the majority of Americans believe Oswald was not the shooter in Dallas.

Mike and DR go way back, back farther than his debut with them. Why do you think he got picked. MP and MM are really the same guy as far as working with other musicians. I’m pretty sure MM knew it was only temporary.

I remember those audition videos, four all four drummers who auditioned, and anyone who has seen them understands that the Dream Theater gig was not just given to Mike Mangini, he earned it. I like both Mikes, and see no need to like one over the other. Portnoy helped make DT the legends they are with his creativity, but Mangini helped get them their first Grammy.

Who knew that this day would spell the end for Mangini's tenure in Dream Theater. Portnoy fixed things up with LaBrie at this event. One can only wonder if Petrucci knew all along this was the last step before replacing Mangini with Portnoy.

01:24:27 - Great stuff from Vince. What's so revealing and astonishing is that is apparent from the comparison of the Dallas motorcade to all the other motorcade that inaction was enough to kill Kennedy. Watch the full Darnell film from about 06:10 - when Kennedy, Johnson and Connolly are on a podium in front of a crowd in Ft. Worth on the morning of Nov. 22. Look at Connolly's face - his expression, his demeanour. Surely, he knows something. Perhaps only that the word is out to relax the security on the motorcade - to make John and Jackie feel really welcome in Dallas. As everyone should have realised, "doing nothing" was as good as shooting Kennedy yourself!
