Great analysis!
Are you a ref too ? I've seen Homer's but you've taken this to a whole level.of absurd its. Shoulda been 47 penalties on bruins. And none on avs. I know your desperate for a win but your coming off as an absolute amateur and a clown
keep it going. the hockey community will catch on to this great pod and subscribe.
Laine isnt dat party animal😅 wtf these people even talking about😂 again...I know some of these old men aint ready to study/get to know more about european players but pls dont talk dat kind of crap...there was actually some big problems and also his dad died while he had hard times...so stop dat shhiet!
Been a Flyers fan my entire life. Feel so great full to have Jonesey and Danny B leading us back to greatness
yeah Montréal is a lit town at night but them players have more than partying after a game to do and talking to patty himself he is not about that life and it was Columbus that put him in the program especially Torts as a coach and always hard on the guy give him a break hes at 100% this season will tell dont forget he played a year with anderson before he came to montreal and we have younger players that would take advantage of the night life thre patty got his partner and dog and rather be around that not trouble hes not 19 anymore hes a full grown man ... the pub is down the road for you to get your info lol ...fuckin non sense
Why does this idiot believe partying is Laine's problem?
A bunch of guys who are probably Leafs fans.
Great insight @neilsmith
Sounds like the leafs 😊
It wasn't nightlife..geeez.. depression was a big part of his issues
Yeah and he had already hard times and then his dad died...as a Finn🇫🇮 I dont know what this man is talking about
Wouldn’t it be counter intuitive to send him somewhere where there’s nothing to do or smells like curry 24/7 like Toronto? It’s exactly why he got bored in Winnipeg or Columbus… cause there’s nothing to do there!
What a load of bull. The guy says Laine was in the player assistance program I don't know why, and then goes on to talk about partying in Montreal... Like, it could be so many things. Besides, Laine is *known* to be a loner. He's not a party animal. It's just wild speculation based on a nothingburger.
That’s one thing I don’t agree with what they’re doing is they should go to the bottom because trying to find top and talent in later rounds or even the end of the first round is even more unlikely and even more challenging than it is finding it at the top of the draft, but eventually you do get lucky
He didn't bring up kolosov... Damn.
My thoughts exactly. I went back to re listen in case I missed it. Not good. Sure adds to the smoke.
Lee brought it today w the research and questions for Jonesy! As a Flyers fan from Philly living now in San Diego I appreciate getting to hear this! Jonesy knows Philly and it’s my belief he saw what became of Flyers hockey and his love for Mr. Snider and the fans motivated him to take this job. Let’s Go FLYERS!
Chuckles the Incompetent Clown buried the flyers to the point where the franchise is virtually unsalvageable. Prior to that, homer and Hexy drove the franchise into the ground thanks to being slightly less incompetent than Chuckles. The franchise is virtually irrelevant in Phila. The Jones-DB era is doing well, but it’s doubtful they will be able to raise this Titanic. The damage is just too great
🐐🐐🐐
Keith Jones is loved in Philadelphia. He embraced our city for what we are, and gave Philadelphians laughter on WIP every morning!! Jones - Briere LOVE
Excited to see their names as one of the 52 on the cup someday
@@nickreschke6553 They have the backing of a substantiable ownership group who will give them all the resources they need. When that day comes Cheese steaks are on me!
Awesome Neil!
Was an absolute pleasure to share some time with this group! Thanks for having me on!
Hey man, great show. What is that logo on your hat?
This is a great series you did. Can you ask Barry, if his wonderful book “Losing the Edge” will ever be available for digital purchase. We Rangers fans would definitely buy it.
Hi Vincent! Unfortunately, there are no plans to make a digital version.
We all thought we won in 1994 because of Iron Mike but the truth is we won IN SPITE OF HIM! Now hearing all the stories from the players and everyone else we learn what a real JERK HE WAS
Thanks so much for doing this series and bring back memories of my dad who past in 2007 along with my 4 other uncles who LOVED the Rangers and are now all gone. The thing I don't understand is how the hell does Neil Smith has not gotten a job all these years!
This was phenomenal. Thank you!
Episode 2 of the Special Series comes out June 5th! Stay tuned for the "Quick Path to the Eastern Final with Steve Larmer & Kevin Lowe"
Can't wait !!

would be interested to hear your thoughts on how much equipment has changed over the years, and how much impact that's had on the game.
Good suggestion. Don’t see us covering this early in our run but certainly an important topic which has relevance, particular with the tragedy in the UK earlier this season. This will stay on our radar.
2 Great guys talking hockey…what could be better??? Lots of luck!!!
This will be epic!!!
