Gotcha I know perforance pads can be loud at parking lot speeds. I don’t have no track hawk but my Lexus has big front brakes OEM and they are ugly loud at low speed especially in the morning when there moisture on them. Hope you get it sorted.

I could see how they would help because of the stiffer sidewall but I haven't noticed a huge difference to be honest

I understand that high-performance brakes will squeak, however, I've been driving this car for a month and only recently have they started to squeak which is interesting. It's not so much as a thud and it's hard to explain but thank you for the direction, I'll look into that.

It doesn't make any extra power. My understanding, from what I've read, is that it is a heavier duty belt that will potentially last a little bit longer / not stretch as much.

Right!? I was surprised. Thank you for the recommendation. I agree that that lifetime warranty marketing is complete crap. How many miles do you have on your hawk now? My old one had 56k so I was all worried getting this one at 73k but it's doing really good.

It's a dual clutch (with paddles) auto... So it has actual clutches but the computer is shifting so it's technically "automatic" and the computer downshifts as well.

So the Trackhawk I had before this one had about 56,000 miles. Whoever owned it before me must've really went crazy with it because the transfer case failed, transmission failed, and to be expected the water pump went out. So far with the higher miles on this one it's doing ok but it seems like the previous owner took really good care of it maintenance wise. I would be looking for signs of regular maintenance and general care for the car if I was looking for another one. They are 707 hp cars so things are going to break and for that I would definitely recommend an extended warranty. 100%. It will save you, I can almost guarantee it lol
