Jozie, I'm so glad you managed to finish it, it's beautiful! So much have happened during this video, such great reveal in the end, I love it so much 💕 But let's start from the very beginning. I'm freaking love how light from the torch follows the guard, making the rest of the room dark as he leaves. Like, dang, it looks so natural and canonical, great job! And ohh, who is this mystery girl Madellaine who founds the empty cell 👀 even though I know who she is I just love the whole mystery around it, and it sets a great tone for the beginning of the video. When the scene with Helene and Illiana starts, I really like the composition, how light Helene is in the front and darker and blurred Illiana on the background. The concept of syringe is also really well done, looks natural on the paper. I also like that there also is this pile of papers with different options, nice detail! The moment when Alisanne leaves in the middle of the night is also nicely done, just a pretty moment. I also like the environment you chose when Helene said she could be more for Arset. And just awh, I love the bond between Illiana and Helene it's so sweet, and I adore how they support each other. I don't regret the decision to make them live in the same room, you use it fully for sure. The backgrounds from the next scene are so pretty, I love it so much! And I also like the colouring and shadows in this scene a lot, very natural looking. And dang, use this picture as a portrait of Aldmaric who slayed a dragon is genius, oh my gosh, I just can't xD I also like the expression you chose for the moment when Cornelius reads her proposal, it's so fitting! The next shot is very dramatic, I love all those people who surround Helene, but then she snaps them out. I also approve that you use the rule "show don't tell" showing weapons of war, ship and so on, it helps a lot to make the dialogue feel easier to perceive. In the next scene, light and dark are also really well done and again, backgrounds are incredibly beautiful! The lights both for Bastian from the room and for Helene from outside are gorgeous. And backgrounds for the library are also wonderful, the same goes with the light! I also like how you showed flashback scene, sepia and blurry. The light from the fireplace again is great. I also like another flashbacks, with little Faline, the recolouring of Odette is well-done, as well as a headswap when Henry introduces Helene as his bride. I also like that you even recoloured the dress in this scene instead of keeping it all black (it logically makes sense, because black is a colour of sadness and tragedy, not engagement). Likewise, I also just adore the moment when outside Bastian is just confused, but inside he wants to stop up but just can't. In the reality, the moment when they both hands while reaching a scroll is edited extremely well, both as manip and colourwise. And aawh, these sparkles in Helene's eyes when she looks at him, the girl is love, awh ✨ their confession of love is very sweet, and I'm so happy for both of them. The light, again, is gorgeous, and I like how they touch hands at this moment. And awh, I like how the scene ends with flying butterflies! And now it's time for Faline's return! I just adore Illiana's reaction when Faline is like "Of course I'm, why wouldn't I?" XD and oh, something important you need to know, you're intriguer, Bastian! XD and oh my gosh, I just absolutely love the scene where Faline is in her butterfly dress, acting insane, so cool and creative, just wow! And I love how Drisella just burst out laughing seeing it, perfect reaction while Helene is concerned and Illiana terrified xD the shot of Tobias in prison is also nicely done. I also want to appreciate transition of Faline's leaving, very creative one! Now it's time for the scene of meeting regarding further actions towards Edith. You again showed very good skills while working with light and shadows in this scene, I like how Helene enters the room from a darker area. The fireplace's lightsweep is also gorgeous, and I adore how you recoloured Alisanne's dress! I did not notice it right away, but I appreciate that you also placed the map on the table, that is a great detail! I also like how you show how citizens are ready to revolt against Edith, nicest done! And the switch from Edith to Helene as a new head of the house is probably my fault moment in this scene, it's incredibly stylish. I also like how they mark a final point on the map, yay, consistency of the world building! And now it's time for the festival! I like that you put extra effort to recolour Cinderella's dress to Willow's colour when she cuts the red ribbon. I also like recoloured version of Belle's dress, these colours fit her so well! And awh, manip when she and Bastian touch hands is also so nicely done! Poor Helene, I doubt she can enjoy the celebration after such news. Final shot for this scene with fireworks is also extremely beautiful. Moving to the dreams, I just love the fact that Illiana and Helene share the bed and I adore the moment when Helene falls on it. She's just so done with everything. When the dream starts, I like how you showed Iddia, implying that it's her doing. The effect on Helene when the dream starts is unique, I like it! The moment when she touches dragon and there's a transition gives me goosebumps in a good way, nicely done! Even though the scene with Maleeka is short, it shows everything that is needed - her, crystal and somewhere around northern tombs. I also really like this snowflake transition. And now probably the best moment in the video comes. The second dream. IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD! That's one of the most creative versions I have seen, I adore how much you managed to cover without showing actual flashbacks. Your attention to details was always impressive, and at this moment it shines especially bright. Like, the concept itself. It's freaking genius! Not to mention the fact that you created all this beauty by yourself, like so good! All the portraits are pretty, I love that in all Medea's scenes something bad happens to her daughters, it's nice symbolism! I love Helene with long hair and overall the fact that her dress in this scene and flowers are yellow. And again, Medea on the background. The detail with portals/space/unknown for the future is spectacular, as well as the fact that the shape of pictures is different. The portrait with recoloured Odette as younger Edith is super sweet... And it's even sadder to see that on the next one he is beaten up by guards while Edith can only watch. I also adore Thumbelina's dress on Faline, it suits her perfectly, and I love how the clothes characters wear mirrors their personalities and priorities. I also adore portrait where Medea suggests the endless list of suitors for Faline (well, at least all of them are more or less young, I give her credit for that. Faline is still too young for this, but I'm just glad that it could be worse). And of course, the biggest portrait, the most important one. The fact that Medea poisoned her husband. It's just ... Dang. I love this twist. There are also so many good details on this picture, like that goblet with poison has the gems of the same color as poison, the fact that fancier goblet is closer to Helene, but she would not take it due to her upbringing, the fact that Medea decided to take such a risk... That's a lot. And I absolutely love it. I also like the final shot, like, it's so creepy! It's also curious that once Edith was looking very similar to current look of Faline (besides of course hair colour and style of the clothes that were fancy as now). And like I said that's incredibly creepy when all eyes are covered by blood (it's also interesting that only Helene has blood also from her mouth, I wonder if there is any extra symbolism in it), everything gets red besides her, Medea, one and only, acting as a saint even though the whole family are victims of her schemes and ambitions. It was a marvelous job, Jozie and I can't say how happy I am to see you so inspired. Keep up with good work 💛
