Looks nice, especially for a layman. I've seen some really bad wiring on UA-cam videos LOL. Yours looks like it was done a by professional One question. Why do the latching relay instead of just an on/off switch?
I just looked at your channel. I would say you're a little more than a layman.
I used relay because high current switches are big and take lot of space. But there is no difference, you can use on/off switch as well.
@@diy-bros.1995 Ok, but your switch is controlling the relay coil voltage which is not high current. My question was about using a latching relay design instead of an on / off switch to power the coil. The N/C off switch still holds the current of the relay coil in your design so the switch would not need to be any bigger. So you could just use an on / off switch to power the coil. Most of the time a latching power relay is used for safety reasons so that a momentary break in the latch circuit stops the power until it's turned back on. so, that is my question. Is there a reason for using the power latch ? For something that did not require a latching power relay you can use a N/O selector switch and still only take up one 22mm switch spot. I like to use LED lighted switches that light up when the system is on.
Merci
Hi, Tanks for the video that shows the GUI setup. Is the Macros for probing available for download? Thanks
should make it out of mdf on a wood router as mdf has the best sound deadening properties . aluminum is no good for speeker box as it will cause a tiny sound and will vibrate and ring . ither that make a mdf plug and wax it then make a fider glass mould from that . if you look at pro sound custom car instals you will find they use mdf or fiber gass . and not metal ..... ther is a reson for that ? . good lazer scaner tho 👍🤘
hmm.. Yes you may be absolutely right. I'm not pro be any means. But I have worked so hard with this and I still have a long way to go and if aluminum doesn't work, I'll have to change it
So what's the point of this? You didn't even record the engine sounds before and after, so I guess that wasn't the goal, nor the cabin sound. Nice waste of time since, apparently, the main goal was to change the sound the hood makes when someone knocks on it.
Title says it is hood soundproofing. But anyways there is graph at the end, that shows before and after. There was not noticeable difference that's why there is no video. Hood soundproofing can't give much difference to the interior
It's great working 😮WOo! Gud Luck all team🫡👍
I see the short video you did on welding rod tube holder. Sorry this is the only way that I could figure to contact you about my question. What kind of PVC tube is used for the rod tubes? They look like some type of plumbing drain pipe, but I'm unaware of the type. The fittings look very good for the rod tubes.
These are regular sewage pipes used in Europe. I used pipes 50mm in diameter.
Nice oven did you build it
yes, we built and designed it ourself
hello, i built my own oven following your tutorials. But now i have 220V everywhere in the oven..... Do you know the trick? does it means my SSR is broken???? Thanks
You need to find the leaking part. Some part wont have good N or something. Also make sure you have good grounding. But the oven body should not have any voltage. So go over all the connections and try to find leak
I had very bad N..... thank you :)
What other brand insulation would you use ?
I'm not sure yet, there is still long way to go
💯
Just stumbled across your video... I am also a big CSLabs fan. Nice sheet metal base for the back panel! Will you be able to access the backplate from the back once its in your machine, in case you need to re-run any wires? Why didn't you use ferrules on our cables? Unlike the WAGOs you are using, the other clamps should not be used without to avoid loose connections over time. They also come in dual to make daisy-chaining easier. Also, I would recomment to protect the edges of the cable holes, as otherwise vibrations from the machine may damage the insulation over time. Had a similar issue on my machine and it was a nightmare to find the faulty cable later on.
yea, good point. I have to keep these in mind.
I have the same probe. See if you like what i've done with mine 😅
Do you like this probe?
Looks good, but I can’t see the benefit of making it in steel instead of 3D printing the enclosure in pieces.
I think it's too big for 3d printing. I used aluminum so it is strong and robust.
that was horrible to watch. the narration was the worst in this vid. sometimes it is better not to speak at all. short subtitles would explain the important parts. clean up your shed, that work environment is hazardous and unacceptable. video quality was ok.
This is not how to make a powder coating booth.. this is how to make a metal box.
how's that so?
@@diy-bros.1995 there's more to a powder coat booth than just the outer frame.. almost like putting a cone on a plastic tube and saying you built a rocket..
@@diy-bros.1995 it might also be worth mentioning that the frame on the booth that you did build turned out great. I was just expecting by the end of the video to see an operational booth be built is all
Looking good🎉
Can it handle a 4x4x6 oven with 4 elements 3000 whatts each?
Yes, Same principle can be used. But main breaker needs to be double amperage and I would put 1 heater per solid state relay. So 4 solid state relays are needed. This amperage rating works on 230v system
Where did you get the enclosure box?
i did it myself
Will you sell this custom panel as well? Im going to start a new build wich is going to be a granite chassi aluminum mold slayer in januari. Tierd of the ups n downs with both uccnc and mach from the previous builds sim cnc seems to be fun complete solution.
Do you mean back panel where elements will fit ?
Yepp the back panel
I added files in description if you need.
Could go alower in that face mill opp, would make it look nicer
how about a parts list
Sure thing. I added parts list on the descriptions.
going old school with (vernier caliper) there are not too many people that know of them let alone read them
I really like this tool. Especially with hardened tips for better marking. This one in video is regular, without hardened tips.
Hello, where can I get a screen on the simCNC probe? Thank you for your reply 🙏😊
My favourite series BMW. I had two. A 1998 AC Schnitzer 540i and a 1999 525
As a 45 year machinist , this guy Scares Me using Cutting tools ! Be careful , STAY SAFE out there !
I've seen some nasty kickback. This is insane

Looks pretty cool mate. Nice job!
Hi, one question. Do you measure the 3D probe v6 with the automatic setter tool setter?. Regards
Yes, I measure Tool length sensor with probe v6
Some cutting data from millalyzer #1 14cm3/min , 215W cut, 0.1 Nm, ~25N cut #2 84cm3/min, 1300W cut, 0.63Nm, ~180N cut #3 56cm3/min , 870W cut, 0.35 Nm, ~100N cut
How are you calculatig this ?

You might want to upgrade the door design a bit. You could split it and do a double door, or you could add a caster wheel to the bottom of the door, both would mitigate the oven wanting to tip forward when the door is open. Overall cool project though.
Good luck. But is too much zoomed in, out of subject area. I cannot see the content of the box coming out ..anyways good printing..
Yes, you are correct. I will try to fix it next time
Smart
Hello, have you made any of your scripts available? Or are there any existing library available?
Now that's fascinating!! Out of curiosity, have you considered 3D-printing the piece out of ABS plastic as opposed to welding metal?
it was so big detail so I never thought about printing it.
Amazing 👍 e39 more
Tere! Kas saaksid aidata macrode ja screenidega?
Would be great to see a machine overview, very impressive 👍
Do you have any other shots of the laser weld samples and pipe story at the end of the video? Very interesting. I wish I could be at Intech 2023
Sadly I don't have
Good job .

Beautiful Boxter 25
What is that second layer added on top of the deadening material?
it is something similar to this. www.nonsolospeakers.com/sound-dampening-deadening/13523-ctk-multimat-pro-sound-insulation-material.html it contains multiple materials to absorb and block sound. Effective sound proofing needs 3 layer. sound deadening(butyl rubber), isolator(usually closed cell foam), and sound blocking(something tense and heavy). this material contains all of them.
Nice! Is it possible to dowload those srcrips and screens?
What is the size of the collet used?
