Why do you keep hiting the boat?
hitting any entity while sprinting tricks the game into thinking you're walking when you're actually sprinting. doing this makes you lose hunger slower, and in 1.7, your hunger depletes very fast.

like i remember making a little house on that island you passed at 0:30, finding my first diamonds in a cave that was right under spawn, and always being scared to explore too far because i didn't wanna get lost. wow so many cool memories
